The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, February 6 Recap – Lily Fails Devon’s Test – Sally Fears Wrong Bio Dad

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, February 6, reveals that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will urge Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to say something following her confession that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) could be the father of her baby.

Nick will admit he already did the math and knew that, but he felt Sally would tell him when she was ready.

Sally will hope fate wouldn’t be cruel enough to make Adam the father when things are completely over, but Nick will hint about fate sometimes having an interesting sense of humor.

When Sally wonders if she should tell Adam, Nick will note that nothing good comes from keeping secrets.

Sally will resolve to get a paternity test and find out the truth, so she’ll call a DNA diagnostics center to make an appointment once she’s alone.

At Crimson Lights on Monday’s Y&R episode, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will realize Adam is there alone like him, so he’ll offer to buy him coffee and a brownie.

After Tucker opens up about his miscalculations and subterfuge costing him everything, he’ll encourage Adam to share his own problems.

Adam will admit he lost someone he cared about – and he’ll add that losing her to a family member was the salt, lemon and battery acid in the wound.

Tucker will offer some positivity when he suggests not thinking in absolutes since hope springs eternal.

Once Nick arrives, Adam will thank him for the tip about Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and will admit he talked to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Since they’ll be getting along well for the moment, Adam will ask Nick what’s going on with Sally.

Nick will act like Sally’s fine and probably just uncomfortable in situations where she has to deal with both brothers.

Adam will accept Nick’s answer, but he still won’t look like his mind’s been put at ease.

In the park, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will go for a walk after being unable to sleep.

Once Tessa and Mariah contemplate their baby checklist, they’ll mull over some names before deciding they need to meet their daughter first.

Later, Delphine will call with the news that she’s in labor, so Mariah and Tessa will vow to be there as soon as they can.

That’ll lead to Tessa and Mariah excitedly celebrating the fact that they’re going to meet their baby soon.

At Chancellor-Winters, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will wonder if Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) is sure she wants to fight Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and will end up playing devil’s advocate about his point of view.

However, Jill will act like Devon knew what he was getting himself into when he signed all the merger paperwork months ago.

Now that things aren’t going his way, Jill will suggest Devon wants to take his ball and go home.

Jill will offer to tackle the lawsuit alone if this is too hard for Lily, but Lily will insist she’s on board with helping.

Since Jill won’t think Devon has any legal standing, she’ll expect him to lose in court.

Lily will feel like a failure for not being able to keep her family together in this working arrangement, but she’ll eventually shift gears and pitch Daniel Romalotti Jr’s (Michael Graziadei) gaming platform.

Since Lily won’t see any reason to keep it on hold, she’ll hope Jill gives the green light today.

At Society, Daniel will bump into Devon, who’ll take some of the blame for the delay on Daniel’s project.

Nevertheless, Devon will think that even if things don’t work out, Daniel can shop the platform around and get another company to snatch it up.

Daniel will argue that he wanted to work with the two of them, but Devon will think he mostly wanted to work with Lily.

There’ll be some tense moments as Daniel struggles to understand why Devon is breaking Lily’s heart over all the merger issues, but Devon won’t think Daniel has the full story.

Even so, Daniel will rush to Lily’s defense just before she appears and eavesdrops.

Lily will ultimately interrupt, so Devon will make her a new offer since she claims to be all about family.

Devon will urge Lily to come run Hamilton-Winters alongside him, but Lily will wonder if this is some kind of loyalty test.

Since Lily won’t see why she should have to give up running Chancellor, Devon will think this just proves she’s all about business.

After Devon leaves, Lily will have some positive updates for Daniel.

When Daniel learns Jill approved his project moving forward immediately, he’ll embrace Lily in gratitude.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Daniel and Lily’s bond will grow stronger in the weeks ahead, so stay tuned to Y&R.
