The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has been doing everything he can to support Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) through her pregnancy as well as her career transition.
Nick constantly defends his romance with Sally and refuses to walk away from their special connection, even when other people are telling him that Sally’s bad news.
However, there’s one thing that Nick hasn’t done yet – and that’s declare his love for Sally.
This relationship is still pretty new, so that’s somewhat understandable.
At the same time, Nick is really going above and beyond for a woman that he still hasn’t professed his love for.
The fact that Sally doesn’t entirely know where Nick stands in that department is clearly weighing on her.
Before Sally found out her baby’s paternity, she had some revealing daydreams – including a rather unsettling one where Nick was all about the baby and wouldn’t admit to loving Sally.
Of course, Sally has the opposite problem with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), who’s love for Sally is so deep that it overwhelms her.
We’ve got one Newman brother who can’t say “I love you” and another one who’d shout it from the rooftops if Sally would let him.
Since this is a tricky situation, Nick doesn’t want to rush things or declare his love prematurely.
That could lead to Sally getting hurt, which is the last thing Nick wants.
Nevertheless, Nick may eventually decide it’s time to make this bold declaration.
It’s easy to imagine some romantic moment where Nick finally professes his love and shares what’s in his heart.
If Nick does end up telling Sally that he loves her, will she say it back?
It’s possible Sally will indeed reciprocate with her own love declaration and will perhaps convince herself that she means it.
Then again, this could turn into a bit of an epiphany for Sally. What if Sally realizes she can’t say “I love you” to Nick because she’s still in love with Adam?
Since Sally is having Adam’s baby, there’s a good chance Y&R will swing this story back in his direction romantically.
It’s just a matter of time until Adam and Sally surrender to their spark, so stick with us for updates on how they might get there.
