The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will move forward with a risky plot after luring Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) back to town.
On Y&R’s March 13 episode, Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) will push Phyllis to make amends with the Abbotts with a goal in mind.
Phyllis has to gain access to Diane’s personal property since Jeremy needs one or two small items that belong to her for his scheme.
Jeremy will specify that he’s looking for items that are unique to Diane. This is important, so Jeremy won’t want there to be any confusion about who owns what.
Of course, Diane just acquired a brand-new item that Phyllis might soon have her eye on. Will Phyllis end up stealing Diane’s engagement ring and handing it over to Jeremy?
It turns out Diane will remove her ring and tuck it away for safekeeping – at least for a while. That could be significant once Phyllis goes on the hunt for something that specifically belongs to Diane.
Although Diane and Jack will tell Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) about the accepted proposal right away, they don’t plan on telling the rest of Genoa City until later.
That means Diane’s ring could be off her finger for a while, so Phyllis might go snooping and find it.
Naturally, it’s also possible Diane won’t be able to resist gloating about the engagement, so that could tip Phyllis off to the fact that she has some new bling to be looking for.
Phyllis might score another item that’s unique to Diane as well, but her engagement ring definitely seems like something easy to pocket that would please Jeremy.
Once Phyllis gets the engagement news and perhaps walks away with the ring, she may give Jeremy updates on Diane and Jack’s impending marriage.
That could leave Jeremy tickled pink at the idea of framing Diane with her new bling and blowing up her chance at happiness.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will definitely plan to steal something, so stay tuned to see if it’ll indeed be Diane’s engagement ring.
