The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may get a chance at a fresh start – a real one away from all the typical Newman drama! Maybe it’s time for Adam to stop chasing acceptance, redemption, revenge or anything else at his family’s company.
Adam admitted to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) in the October 26 episode that his latest attempt to redeem himself was bogus since he was plotting vengeance instead.
Although Adam regrets his actions now, that’s only because he believes he drove Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) over the edge.
Adam is going to feel livid and betrayed when he finds out Victor was only pretending to lose his marbles. It’s possible Adam could plot revenge again over Victor’s test, but what would really be the point?
Adam may finally realize that he’s stuck in an endless cycle when it comes to playing all these mental games with his father. Shouldn’t Adam be sick and tired of it by now?
Meanwhile, it definitely feels like a shift is happening when it comes to Adam and Sally, so Y&R may be on the verge of truly reuniting them as a couple.
Adam would be thrilled to have an opportunity to work with Sally again, so maybe she’ll eventually hire him for her new venture.
Sally could surely find a spot for Adam on her design firm team and give him a new challenge to sink his teeth into.
Although Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) provided the funding for Sally’s dream, he vowed not to pull the plug after their breakup.
Nick also promised to be hands-off and let Sally make the decisions she wants to make, so he may not object if she wants to hire Adam.
At this point, Nick might honestly expect it to happen. Adam and Sally have a magnetic pull that always seems to put them back in each other’s orbit.
Whatever the case, it’d be nice to see Adam ditch the Newman chaos for a while and throw himself into something worthwhile with Sally.
Adam could find real redemption by choosing to let go of all his pointless attempts to impress or destroy Victor, which would be good news from Sally’s perspective.
