The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) might eventually consider giving her baby up for adoption. There’s a chance Sally will decide she’s just not ready to be a mom and go looking into other options.
One of those options could be relinquishing parental rights and letting someone else give this child a loving home.
Of course, Sally would need the father’s approval on that, but she might hope she can talk Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) or Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) into it depending on what the eventual paternity test says.
Sally knows Adam is a good father to Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) – and she certainly knows Nick’s an amazing dad to his own kids as well.
However, Y&R spoilers suggest Sally might struggle with some insecurities about being able to measure up in the parenting department.
Although Sally is confident in her career, she feels out of her element on this and may worry she’s just not cut out to be a mother.
Regardless, the timing isn’t great since Sally has all kinds of things she still wants to accomplish.
Sally’s interior design venture is just now getting off the ground, so her pregnancy is an inconvenience that’ll turn into an even bigger problem when the baby comes.
It’s easy to imagine Sally getting updates on Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) adopting a newborn – hopefully by the end of February if everything goes according to plan.
Perhaps Sally will watch as that adoption works out beautifully and decide she wants a similar outcome for her bun in the oven.
That’s especially true if Sally is pregnant with Adam’s child and still wants to be a couple with Nick.
Sally might determine that the least messy route here is to give the baby up and let someone else handle parenting.
That news could stir up some chaos as Sally tries to plan her future.
Adam might fight Sally on that if he’s the father of her baby boy or girl.
Nick surely would too if the paternity points to him, but it’s Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) who might put up the biggest fight of all!
Victor might lash out and insist this Newman heir must remain part of the family.
Maybe Victor will argue that his grandchild must be raised by Nick or Adam and stand his ground.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally might have a change of heart and decide she wants this baby anyway in the end, but adoption could be an option on her list in the meantime.
