The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) world has been rocked by the news that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is pregnant with Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) baby.
Although Summer was relieved to know Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) isn’t the father, she also knows her dad likes to save damsels in distress.
Sally pretends she’s all tough and can stand on her own two feet, but she also does things like summon Nick in panic mode over a simple headache.
It’s clear that Sally is a trainwreck of emotions right now, so she’s using Nick as a crutch – no matter what she claims.
Of course, Summer would much rather see Sally fall back in love with Adam and lean on him instead.
However, just trying to convince Sally that she belongs with Adam may not be enough.
It’s easy to imagine Summer expanding this plan of hers and perhaps coaching Adam on how to win Sally back.
If Summer and Adam team up, Kyle may eventually get updates and lash out over the collaboration.
For starters, Kyle hates Adam’s guts and won’t want Summer caught up in any kind of plot with him.
We also know Kyle feels like Summer should accept the fact that Nick’s in deep with Sally and is capable of making his own romantic decisions.
What happens when Kyle realizes Summer is ignoring his advice and has gone behind his back on this Sally and Adam reunion mission?
Considering how Summer reacted to Kyle plotting with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he may think his wife’s behavior is rather hypocritical!
Nevertheless, Y&R spoilers say Summer will continue to have tunnel vision when it comes to ending Nick and Sally’s relationship.
It seems like Summer would be willing to do just about anything to free her father – including coach Adam on how to score the reunion he wants.
