The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, December 13, reveal that Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will get on the same page. Although Devon is still proceeding with caution when it comes to Nate’s return to Chancellor-Winters, he knows they could really use Nate’s help right now.
That’s especially true now that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be taking a leave of absence to be with Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson).
It sounds like Devon will put just a little more trust in Nate on Wednesday’s episode and try to meet him halfway.
Y&R spoilers say Nate and Devon will strike a deal, so Nate should feel good about where things are headed.
Over with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), she’ll take full advantage of Lily’s time away and cozy up to Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) at his new place.
That could bring some temptation for Daniel, so we’ll see how long he can avoid caving in while Lily’s out of the picture!
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will return from Oregon with some items that could be used for a DNA test – including Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) hairbrush and toothbrush.
Once Cole brings some of Claire’s belongings back from the lake house and gets them to the lab, he’ll have to wait for the results along with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). There’ll be a rush job, but it’ll still take some time.
That’ll give Victoria and Cole an opportunity to talk about what’ll happen if it’s proven that Claire is their daughter.
Cole and Victoria will agree that they can’t just abandon their little girl, even if she’s all grown up and capable of horrible things.
As for Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), he’ll report back to Victoria and Cole now that he’s had a chance to interview Claire.
Michael will acknowledge that Claire is a disturbed young woman, but he’ll also believe she’s being honest about Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) manipulation and everything she went through.
In other words, Michael will understand that Claire was a victim too and will announce that he’s officially taking her case.
However, Michael will pose an interesting question to Cole and Victoria when he asks what they’ll do if the DNA results prove Claire isn’t a biological match.
It’ll leave Michael wondering if Victoria and Cole will change their minds about helping Claire, but they may stand their ground on supporting her no matter what news they receive.
