The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, May 24 – Ashley’s Marriage Lie – Summer’s Apology for Kyle

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, May 24, tease that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will finally stop sneaking off long enough to have dinner with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

It looks like Kyle will convince Summer to relax with him at the athletic club, so they’ll try to enjoy an evening out.

Of course, Summer will continue to worry about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and the consequences she could face.

The thought of Phyllis landing behind bars indefinitely is pretty terrifying for Summer to even consider.

Nevertheless, Summer can’t keep running from Kyle when he’s just trying to help.

Although it seems Summer will keep quiet about her own encounter with Phyllis, she’ll still deliver a heartfelt apology.

Summer will let Kyle know that she’s sorry for pushing him away, so he should feel like they’re making progress.

That said, Kyle might fear that Summer’s holding back since she’ll remain on edge.

Meanwhile, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will give Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) some guidance whether she wants it or not.

Victoria hasn’t appreciated any of her family’s advice so far, but Nikki will insist on speaking her mind.

Since Nikki will feel the need to look out for her daughter, she’ll give Victoria a warning.

Nikki may remind Victoria that judgment can get clouded when it comes to matters of the heart.

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) has proven he can’t be trusted, so Nikki won’t think Victoria should let her guard down.

Other Y&R spoilers say Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will come home to hostility between Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. Johnson), so she’ll assume her brother provoked him.

Jack will explode over Ashley’s attempt at staging a coup, but she’ll argue that he doesn’t belong on the Jabot throne – not if he’s going to be so heavily influenced by manipulative Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

Diane will jump in and push for peace, but she’ll only manage to make the conflict worse.

Jack will ultimately defend his fiancée and act like Diane is much closer to Abbott status than Tucker will ever be.

As a result, Ashley will wind up claiming that she’s engaged to Tucker, which will be news to him!

Of course, Tucker won’t complain about the lie and will gladly pretend this engagement is the real deal.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashley’s impending marriage updates will bring yet another outburst from Jack, so stick with the CBS soap.
