The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Will Thad Luckinbill Return for J.T. Hellstrom’s Redemption?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that many fans are wondering if Thad Luckinbill will return as J.T. Hellstrom for the show’s 50th anniversary. The timing seems to add up since the milestone is just around the corner and J.T. is suddenly being mentioned on screen again.

Y&R fans will recall how J.T.’s abuse led to his presumed death, but he made a surprise comeback and continued to torment Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and the rest of the cover-up crew.

In the end, a brain tumor rewrite absolved J.T. of guilt, but he still felt terrible about everything he put Victoria and his other victims through.

Although J.T. easily could’ve gotten off the hook for medical reasons, he decided to accept his punishment and head to prison.

However, J.T. has already been released according to Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) in the March 21 episode.

That news could easily lead to Thad Luckinbill’s return as J.T. just in time for the show to celebrate 50 years on the air.

Audra thinks J.T. would make a fantastic case study for Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) podcast, especially since it might get Victoria’s attention and reunite her with someone who was perhaps the great love of her life.

Of course, Audra wasn’t around to see the horrific abuse that Victoria had to go through.

Although Victoria understands that a brain tumor made J.T. go off the rails, that doesn’t mean she can just forget about all that trauma.

Nevertheless, J.T. might show up in Genoa City soon and hope for redemption. It’s easy to imagine J.T. seeking Victoria out and hoping he can find a way to make amends.

Even if a romantic reunion never happens, J.T. might still want to get a few things off his chest now that he’s had time to think in prison.

Although J.T. apologized in the hospital following his brain tumor removal, he may realize it’s not enough and offer another remorseful speech.

Although Audra’s hoping that maybe Victoria and J.T. might reconnect, this could potentially drive Victoria further into Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) arms instead.

Victoria might become extra vulnerable and lean on Nate once she’s reminded of her traumatic past.

Whatever the case, the door’s open for Thad Luckinbill to return as J.T. Hellstrom, so stay tuned for updates on his possible comeback stint.
