General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the show seems to be gearing up for Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) inevitable confession. GH writers have been offering up some hints to suggest this isn’t Brook Lynn’s first pregnancy rodeo, so her efforts to have a child may force her to admit a painful truth.
Although Brook Lynn isn’t pregnant yet, she’s hoping to be soon.
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) keeps talking about how excited he is to see Brook Lynn’s baby bump and go through this experience for the first time together.
That “first time” part seemed to make Brook Lynn nervous when they were in bed on the November 27 episode.
It felt like a giant clue that if Brook Lynn does end up with a bun in the oven, it won’t be her first child.
Based on how Brook Lynn has been acting and how Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) has been behaving too, it seems BLQ gave up a baby for adoption once upon a time.
There are good reasons to think Brook Lynn surrendered the infant with Lois’ help, but Lois may know another secret that her daughter isn’t privy to.
The show has also offered hints that Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) may be Brook Lynn’s biological son.
Brook Lynn most likely gave up a baby without knowing the details of who ended up raising him.
Lois, on the other hand, may know Gio is her grandchild – and if she does, that explains why she’s always felt the need to look after him, especially once his adoptive parents were gone.
Although Brook Lynn has kept part of her history under wraps, that’ll change down the road.
It’s possible a visit to Dr. Frida Navarro (Christina Ferraro) could set the stage for that if she realizes Brook Lynn has given birth before.
There might even be some complications related to Brook Lynn’s previous pregnancy, which could add some challenges when it comes to getting pregnant now and carrying a baby to term.
At some point, Brook Lynn may not be able to hide her secret from Chase any longer, particularly if Dr. Navarro spills something to tip him off.
Brook Lynn may ultimately confess the adoption of her firstborn and the circumstances surrounding it.
Perhaps Brook Lynn will finally be forced to come clean to Chase and help him understand why she’s been hiding this for so long.
There’s been speculation that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) could be Gio’s father, so we’ll see if he eventually gets a shock of his own!
