General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is stuck grieving for now, but her storyline will shift in a brand-new direction down the road. Once it’s time for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) to make a dramatic GH return, things will change in a big way.
Of course, it’s possible Trina will be completely surprised when Spencer shows back up alive – whether he escapes captivity or perhaps gets rescued.
However, it’s also possible that some clues will surface about Spencer’s survival before then. Trina may pick up on some hints that Spencer sends to let her know he’s still out there somewhere.
Even if it’s just something Trina starts to sense in her heart, she may realize she has to take action.
Trina recently declared that she didn’t think she could go back to Paris ever again, but maybe she’s wrong about that.
Paris gave Spencer and Trina a chance to make such beautiful memories before it all went so horribly wrong.
It’d be nice if Trina and Spencer had the opportunity to reclaim Paris as somewhere that’s special to them.
If Paris becomes the site of Spencer and Trina’s epic reunion down the line, that’d be a good way to recapture some of the magic there.
Regardless, that was the last place Spencer was last seen alive, so it could be Trina’s first stop if she realizes Spencer may have survived after all.
If Trina disappears to Paris at some point, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) may follow her and turn this into a daddy-daughter mission.
It could be motivation for Curtis to conquer his remaining recovery challenges and regain full use of his legs again.
Bottom line, Trina is only mourning the loss temporarily and will no doubt try to find Spencer if she somehow realizes he’s still alive, especially if she feels like he needs her help.
Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) might be the one to put Trina on the path to the truth or maybe she’ll discover Spencer’s survival another way, but the point is Trina and Spencer’s connection will live on!
