In tonight’s Law & Order Organized Crime episode, Detective Stabler was having nightmares. He was supposed to be undercover. Her was supposed to be chill and still he couldn’t stop his nightmares. He kept remembering Jamie’s shooting. Stabler and his team had lost someone they cared for.

It was going to be a while before any of them turn out okay. Stabler’s latest undercover gig required him to get into a truck and maybe wear a hazmat suit later on, but before that could happen, he got into a fight with the person running things. The guy killed their driver. He was going to kill Stabler as well when Stabler defended himself. He got the gun. He would have pursued him if other cops hadn’t arrested him first.

ICE Agents were dealing with immigrants being bused in. They saw that truck veered into the crowd. They heard the gunshots and they spotted Stabler with the gun. They arrested him. Once they ran his prints, they realized he was a cop. He was released. He went running to Sergeant Bell after that.

He told her about how close they were to figuring out Los Santos’s grand plan. Los Santos is this new gang that cropped up in New York. They have a hidden lab that no one knows where it is. The man that tried to kill Stabler was Miguel Espinoza.

Espinoza was the inside man that Stabler’s C.I. introduced him to. Only now that criminal informant is dead. Espinoza is on the run. Stabler still doesn’t know Los Santos’s grand plan or why nearby middle schools have been hemorrhaging students ever since. There were a lot of questions and no answers.

Luckily, this was when Stabler was introduced to Dr. Kyle Vargas. Vargas was a leading Artificial Intelligence expert. He was brought in by the department to make NYPD’s pursuit of justice easier.

Bell’s squad desperately needed this. They’ve lost people. They’ve lost hope. They were even losing resources and so the tech billionaire coming in to help was too valuable to pass on. They were going to use the new technology to find Espinoza. It took a day, but they found him. Espinoza was in hiding.

He was in trouble with his gang. He was lying low from them and the cops. He was secretly using his mother’s credit card and that meant they could arrest her for aiding a known felon. And so Espinoza eventually sang like a bird to them once they mentioned his mother.

Espinoza said the reason no one was finding their vehicles because they get deskinned. They got a professional skinner who could put any design on a trunk or even a sports car.

Jet and Reyes went in undercover. They pretended that they wanted to reskin their sports car. Reyes kept the owner busy while Jet snuck around in the back for evidence. She put a tracker on one of the trucks. She and Reyes were forced to leave early in order to maintain their cover. Only Jet wasn’t feeling well. She continued to not feel well even at work.

Jet almost passed out in the office. Stabler realized what it was and he told Reyes to take her to the hospital. Jet had fentanyl poisoning. She must have gotten too close to one of the vans.

The vans it seems weren’t just transporting drugs to the lab. It was the lab. It was a movable lab and that’s why no one has ever caught Los Santos. Now that fentanyl was involved, the DEA had to be brought in. Espinoza quickly flipped on his gang to the DEA. He agreed to turn informant for them. And it was Vargas who helped Stabler get into the drug truck.

Stabler had to wear a hazmat suit. It was to protect him against the fentanyl that was being worked on. Most of it has been killing people in the neighborhood only that doesn’t stop people from buying their drugs.

Nevertheless, Vargas got Stabler to the truck. The hazmat suit covered his face. He just had to investigate and he couldn’t be seen and unfortunately he was. He got caught. Reyes had to come running to his rescue. He did so without a hazmat suit and so he got exposed to the fentanyl once he saved Stabler.

Reyes needed to be checked out by the paramedics afterwards. Only he’s doing better now. He’s also secretly sleeping with Jet and isn’t he married? This could be how they cope with losing one of their own, but it’s bound to cause heartache one day.

And Stabler went to his criminal informant’s funeral. He also tried to go home and he found his mother more confused than ever. She was wandering the street because her day nurse wasn’t doing too good of a job watching her.

THE END!
