The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) had a quick interaction with Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) in the February 21 episode that stirred up some controversy on social media.
At the cliff house, Liam stopped by and handed over Kelly’s stuffed animal just before she left for her outing with Danny (Elvis Cordero) and Lucy (Amanda Kloots), but it’s what he had to say that got B&B fans’ attention.
When Liam first popped up, he used an over-the-top British accent and got a few laughs in the process.
“Attention, everyone! Where is my daughter? Any daughter will do. This one. I like this one the best,” Liam said as he offered up Kelly’s toy and gave her a high-five.
Of course, Liam was mostly just acting goofy to put a smile on Kelly’s face, but the comment still caused a stir online.
Since Liam obviously has more than one daughter, it’s not a great look for him to admit he likes Kelly the best.
Even if it was just a joke, there seems to be some truth to it lately.
Liam’s confession left some viewers feeling sorry for Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza), who isn’t getting much attention these days since Liam isn’t focused on Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) anymore.
There’s no denying that Liam appears to play favorites based on which woman he’s more in love with, so he’s all about Kelly right now since she’s the child he shares with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
With that in mind, maybe Beth should just be patient and wait for her turn to be the daughter Liam likes best.
It’ll probably happen someday when Liam drifts back to Hope and decides he wants to reunite with her instead.
For now, Liam apparently considers Kelly his favorite kid, so she should enjoy the attention while it lasts. You never know when a waffler like Liam is going to change his mind!
