The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that the show opened the door to a potential Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) reunion way back in Italy, so this is a good time to reevaluate things and see where these exes stand.
In June 2023, viewers were stunned when Liam kissed Steffy while on the rebound.
Liam was still dealing with the shock, pain and anger of watching Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) kiss Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) when he planted one on Steffy.
That led to another kiss once Liam and Steffy returned from Rome – not to mention all the other times Liam’s lobbied for a reunion since then.
Here we are many months later and Liam still isn’t letting it go!
In the February 22 episode, Liam reflected on powerful Steffy memories – including the time he rescued her from drowning in the bathtub all those years ago.
The show’s diving even further back into Steffy and Liam’s history now, so what does that mean?
Liam declared that he wasn’t giving up on Steffy, so there’s still hope if you’re a “Steam” fan.
The ship hasn’t completely sailed yet since the show’s still teasing the possibility of Steffy and Liam getting back together.
In fact, B&B’s latest romantic montage arguably offers a boost when it comes to Liam and Steffy’s reunion chances.
It certainly doesn’t seem like Liam will be reuniting with Hope anytime soon, so it makes sense for the show to keep stringing fans along with some Liam and Steffy hints.
Of course, Steffy hasn’t wavered from her commitment to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) so far.
We’ve repeatedly heard Steffy stand her ground with Liam and make it clear that she has no intention of leaving her husband.
Even so, things can change quickly on soaps, especially when temptation and former flames are part of the equation.
That said, Steffy and Finn have become a pretty popular couple on the show, particularly since Finn’s proven to be such a devoted guy who isn’t into any other women.
It would be a risk to have Steffy revert to the waffler since Liam is clearly the inferior love interest.
Perhaps that’s why the show’s proceeding with caution and only offering little glimmers of “Steam” hope along the way.
Nevertheless, there’s enough hope to keep Liam and Steffy’s reunion chances alive, so it’ll be interesting to see where things go from here.
