Tomas recently asked Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Natash Nixon) to move in together, but she gently turned him down as she felt they were rushing into things.
Perhaps someone close to Kat will remind Tomas that he’s the first real romance Kat’s ever been in and that she likely wants to just slow things down.
Then again, if the advice comes from someone unexpected, will Eva be the one to chime in and counsel Tomas on his relationship?
Speaking of Kat, it sounds like the conflict between her and her brother, Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon), may finally be settled.
Beyond the Gates spoilers for the December 10 episode remind fans that Martin was quick to present Kat’s side of things when their father Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) relayed his frustration over Kat’s refusal to form a real sister-sister bond with Eva.
Martin told Ted just how betrayed Kat felt after Leslie and Eva’s scheme was exposed, and how no one believed Kat about her intuition that Eva was up to no good.
While Eva was manipulated by her mom, that doesn’t discount the fact that Kat was right about her half-sister and her intentions when she first became the family’s assistant.

Laura has always given Eva the benefit of the doubt; however, as Leslie has been taunting the assistant recently during WinterFest preparations and the event itself, she may have reached the end of her rope.
