Beyond the Gates spoilers for Tuesday, May 20, indicate Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) will lean on her dad, while Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) consoles a heartbroken Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob).
Plus, Anita Dupree’s (Tamara Tunie) past comes back to haunt her, so it’s time to dive in and talk about what’s set to unfold during Tuesday’s show.
It sounds like Tracy (Maria Howell), Anita’s old bandmate from the Articulettes, could end up visiting the Duprees on the May 20 episode.
Anita is looking to reunite her girl group and reached out to Tracy last week, and the two women agreed to get together.
With that said, there’s still a ton of bad blood between her, Tracy, and the third member, Sharon.
Still, if Tracy and Anita can mend fences, is there any hope the ladies can come back together and hit the stage for some concerts at some point in the near future?
At the very least, healing old wounds may be a good start.
Not to mention the idea that it would be nice to have her old friend, whom she was once very close to, back in her life.
Regardless, Tracy is slated to appear at some point this week, so will fans be introduced to this character during the May 20 episode?
Across town, Ashley will be reeling from her big blow-up with Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin).
The two are on the outs after yet another massive argument. In many ways, both realize that moving in together was an absolute disaster.
Ashley had to leave work early on the Monday, May 19 episode and headed to the local bar, only to run into Andre.
Her ‘friend’ could see she was emotional, so will Andre help lick Ashley’s wounds, during Tuesday’s show?
Andre himself left Dani Dupree’s (Karla Mosley) home a little heartbroken when he pushed for more with their relationship, and Dani pushed back.
Andre has always had a thing for Ashley, so could this be his opportunity for true love and happiness?
Meanwhile, BTG spoilers imply that Eva will lean on the one person who believes in her, so it sounds more like father-daughter bonding between her and Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson).
Ted tried his best to make Eva’s birthday special during the May 19 episode by taking her out to dinner and getting her a gift.
Considering he didn’t have much time to plan things, he did alright.
But will both of them find out about Katherine “Kat” Richardson’s (Colby Muhammad) recording of Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant), where the woman suggested Eva was the one who ran Laura Peterson (Destiny Love) down?
She was hauled into the police station for questioning on the May 19 show but was able to leave shortly after a small grilling session.
Leslie did a good job of keeping Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) and his questions at bay, but is she living on borrowed time?
She did tell the cop that Eva could never have done such a thing, and noted she was ‘playing’ with Kat.
In any case, she was able to, somewhat, account for her whereabouts during Laura’s crash, but not Eva’s. Will this trigger Jacob to haul Eva to the station, too?
Beyond the Gates spoilers suggest that Jacob warned Leslie that he won’t stop until he uncovers the truth, so could Leslie end up throwing her daughter under the bus to save her own butt if push comes to shove?
