In tonight’s Big Brother episode, Jimmy’s week as HOH was crazy. Only it came to an end tonight. There was a new HOH competition. There were going to be more nominees and it’s unclear who the target was going to be. Or if the HOH would even stay the HOH. Mickey still has her secret, remember.
She can dethrone the HOH to make her own nominees. There was some that suspected she won a power. They just didn’t know for sure. The last week showed everyone that they couldn’t even trust their greatest friends in the house. Rachel and Ashley were besties with Amy and they still voted with the house to evict her. And some people were literally just rewriting history.
Take Morgan. Morgan actively campaigned to keep Will. She suspected that it would be him up against the other person at eviction. She wanted to keep Will and sacrifice the other person. Well, that’s what happened. It wasn’t until she remembered that Amy would never vote her out that she felt bad.
It was still selfishness because she didn’t feel bad about betraying Amy. She felt bad knowing that it would affect her own game. She lost an ally that she always prepared to sacrifice. She even got upset at Jimmy for nominating Amy.
Amy’s final words still left an impact. She called Jimmy a snake and a liar. She told everyone to vote him out next. Jimmy heard her and he didn’t know who else heard her because people weren’t telling him to his face how they felt. Rachel was depressed. Morgan was faking anger.
Mickey was keeping secrets and she no longer trusts Jimmy on top of that. Her not trusting him wasn’t the result of Amy going home. It was the fact that he was HOH and he nominated five people and none of them were big threats.
Mickey was pushing him to make big moves. He didn’t and she was in the alliance he was relying on. Jimmy was lying on the Triple Threat alliance with Morgan and Mickey. Neither of the ladies like him anymore. They didn’t think he’d make it to a final three much less help them get there.
The house later had the HOH competition and Lauren won it. Lauren was an enigma in the house. She hasn’t talked game with anyone other than Katherine. She’s been friendly to everyone. She’s voted with the majority the whole time. Her HOH was the first time most of them took notice.
Rachel didn’t know who she was. She forgot there was a Lauren in the house. Mickey knew who Lauren was. She also knew that Lauren was close to Katherine.
The same Katherine that never fully made up with Ashley and Ashley was Mickey’s girl. Mickey was also worried about herself. She was afraid of being a pawn while Ashley was the true target. Mickey’s concern stemmed from her believing that Lauren had no mind of her own. Those were her exact words. She thought Lauren was merely an extension of Katherine.
Mickey was so worried that she didn’t care what Jimmy had to say. Jimmy wasn’t HOH. Lauren was. Lauren has to come up with three nominees as well as replacement nominees.
It’s practically a given that Keanu was going to be one of the noms. No one doubts that one. Keanu has too many enemies. His friend Vinny was also really close to Lauren. He told Lauren that there’s no judgement in playing it safe. Lauren herself had a conversation with Keanu in which she physically could not look at him. She was too nice to lie to his face.
She also couldn’t look at Ashley. Which was telling. Lauren didn’t know who else besides Keanu to nominate. Kelley offered to be a pawn again. She’s taken herself off the block twice now.
She wanted to work with Lauren and so she was willing to risk it all again. Lauren noticed that no one else was prepared to go that far to prove their loyalty. Lauren went back and forth until it was finally time to make a decision. Lauren soon nominated Keanu, Kelly, and Will. She wanted to win HOH so bad to make big moves.
And when the time came to make those big moves, she choked just like Jimmy.
