General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Adrian Anchondo has joined GH as Marco, so let’s talk about his first airdate in this new contract role. Anchondo will make his debut on Thursday, March 13, which is also when Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) is set to meet a mysterious stranger.
Adrian Anchondo indeed screen-tested with Van Hansis, so all signs point to Marco being Lucas’ new love interest.
Marco will catch Lucas’ eye and may ultimately help him move on from Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), but can this mystery man be trusted?
Anchondo offered up some intriguing hints in an interview with TV Insider.
It certainly sounds like Marco may have a shady side – though he may develop legitimate feelings for Lucas as well.
“But I really connected with the character, and I feel like I’ve been playing a lot of good guys going bad or bad guys going good, so I think this character is in my wheelhouse,” Anchondo said.
That makes it seem like Marco might straddle the line between good guy and bad guy following his debut.
A newly released photo also shows Marco at Wyndemere, which points to a Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) connection.
Will Marco turn out to be Sidwell’s son? That seems like a great possibility under the circumstances.
Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) previously talked about having a son named Eloi from another marriage – the amazing guitarist who disappointed his mom by drifting away from music.
It’s possible Eloi will turn out to be Marco since we know Natalia has a romantic history with Sidwell.
Marco is a lawyer, but Natalia may feel like his musical talent is being wasted despite that impressive alternate career path.
Then again, it’s possible Marco is a different person entirely.
Sidwell has surely had many lovers over the years, so maybe this is his son with another woman or even a younger brother instead.
Whatever the case, fans will look forward to Adrian Anchondo’s debut in the March 13 episode.
That’ll give Lucas a chance to cross paths with Marco, so sparks should fly right off the bat.
Lucas may ultimately fall hard for Marco and make some predictions about their future together, but Marco’s secrets could get in the way!
