General Hospital Thursday, July 10 Recap: Jason Escorts Sasha & Daisy Into Hiding

General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, July 10, reveals that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) agreed to escort Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson) and Daisy Gilmore (Levi Clark Coughlin) into hiding while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) warned Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) to stay away.

After Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) gave Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) a file of information, he said it was everything Drew needed to land a hit on Sonny and Laura Collins (Genie Francis).

Once Ezra brought a reporter to GH, he put a camera in Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) face to make him answer Sonny and Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) questions.

Marco didn’t want Natalia’s death used for political gain and warned that he’d pursue legal action if this harassment continued.

Ezra also put Laura on the spot with an interview about Sonny, but she refused to take the bait.

At Sonny’s house, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) pushed him to enter a ceasefire with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) or else they could lose someone else they love in the escalation.

Outside the Quartermaine boathouse, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) insisted he couldn’t let Sasha and Daisy leave – at least not alone.

Sasha pointed out that Michael needed to stay with Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) in Port Charles.

Michael still wanted Sasha to have protection on her way out of town and hinted about doing better than a bodyguard.

After Michael summoned Jason and gave him updates on the dangerous situation with Daisy, he approved Sasha’s plan to leave town with their daughter.

Jason asked where Sasha wanted to go as they started nailing down some arrangements.

Sasha took Daisy back up to the main house for her feeding and vowed that the baby would stay in her room every night until they left.

Once Michael was alone with Jason, he cried over having to say goodbye to Daisy and miss all her first milestones.

Jason understood what it was like to be apart from your kids for their own good, but he assured Michael this wasn’t his fault.

In Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) office, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) came clean about being the one to tip Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) off about Curtis’ Jacinda (Paige Herschell) plot.

Curtis blew up over the news before Drew arrived and learned that Kai had confessed.

Although Curtis suggested Kai didn’t have to explain to him, he pointed out that Kai would indeed have to explain to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).

After Drew and Curtis argued again, Drew pressured Curtis to release an article against Sonny regarding the Natalia situation.

Drew wanted it made known that Sonny was held as a person of interest for 24 hours – and he wanted the autopsy report published as well.

Curtis eventually made a phone call and gave the green light to a headline asking if Sonny was the one to end Natalia.

At the gallery, guests gathered for Joel Sartore’s new photography exhibit, which gave Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) a chance to get chatty with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).

Cody pretended he was a klutz as he spilled a drink on Liz, so Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) got all riled up.

Ric also lashed out at Ava Jerome (Maura West) for all her Cody flirting, but she was more focused on all the attention he gave Elizabeth!

As the fight escalated, Ric took off before one of them could say something they regretted.

Over with Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner), she fished for info regarding Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard) and his lab, but Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) didn’t have any.

Emma said she was off to see Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) and clearly wanted to get under Josslyn’s skin.

Next, Gio eavesdropped on Sidwell telling Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) to speak with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and try to keep the Natalia investigation open.

Sidwell mentioned how Sonny had a flight all lined up to take Natalia to Belize and suggested maybe she took her own life to avoid whatever Sonny had in store.

Gio headed to Sonny’s place and gave him a heads-up on what he overheard, but Sonny pushed him to stay out of this.

Sonny also agreed with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) since she warned Gio away from him.

Since Sonny wanted to protect Gio, he told his grandson to steer clear of him for now.

General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will do everything in his power to keep his loved ones safe, but plans have a way of going awry in Port Charles!
