General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, December 23, reveals that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will get accused while Ava Jerome (Maura West) delivers an urgent warning. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will also confess to Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), so here’s what viewers can expect.
For starters, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will continue to have a hunch that Chase went to extremes for Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) sake.
Chase already pointed out that he wouldn’t tamper with proof, but Dante will still question him on Tuesday’s show.
Dante will need Chase to confirm that he didn’t make the traffic cam video go away to help Willow get exonerated.
Chase will feel accused and betrayed, so he’s sure to lash out at Dante as a result.
While Chase reiterates that he’s not responsible, Brook Lynn will voice some concerns during a discussion with Michael at the Metro Court.
Since Chase was so passionate about helping Willow clear her name, Brook Lynn has tried to respect his wishes on this.
However, that’s becoming increasingly difficult due to the lines Chase is willing to cross.
Brook Lynn will confess to Michael that she may have made a mistake in shoving down her fears.
Now that the footage is gone, even Brook Lynn may admit she’s afraid Chase could be the reason why.
Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) got rid of the video instead as part of his agreement with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), but Chase will land on the hot seat for now.
Since GH spoilers say some difficult news is ahead for Chase, that may involve all the accusations or perhaps another potential setback for Willow.
As for Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), she’ll panic as she updates Ava on the legal papers she got served with.
Portia was subpoenaed and now has to testify, so Ava will try to calm her down on Tuesday’s episode.
There’s nothing Portia can do to avoid facing a grilling session in court.
Ava will realize the best strategy here is for Portia to just clam up as much as she can on the stand.
Portia needs to avoid spilling anything more than necessary since there’s so much at stake.
Of course, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will have other plans as she interrogates Portia once court resumes.
We’ll see Alexis go after Portia hard, so the tears will start flowing for the doc who’s got so much to hide.
Portia’s motive to shoot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) involves the changed lab results and the blackmail mess that followed.
There’s also the matter of Portia’s alibi since she wasn’t at the hospital when the shooting happened like she claimed.
Portia was actually in Isaiah Gannon’s (Sawandi Wilson) bed, but coming clean about that could mean blindsiding Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) with another father candidate.
Although Portia will try to shut down Alexis’ questions and will even resort to begging, some courtroom shockers are still on the way.
At some point on Tuesday’s show, Alexis will score intel that could affect Willow’s case, so we’ll see if this ties in with Portia or perhaps the Quartermaine mansion spy.
A mysterious character recently watched and listened as Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) admitted her willingness to cover for Michael, who was also at Drew’s house that night.
Whether Martin (Michael E. Knight) was the spy or someone else instead, that info will play a key role in the story eventually.
In the meantime, it looks like Tracy will sit down with Michael and voice her disapproval about something.
Michael and Tracy are in this together, but that doesn’t mean she won’t complain along the way!
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will also have a Tracy run-in and may end up having to explain why she’s suddenly supporting Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) purchase of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) piers.
General Hospital spoilers say Sidwell’s demands will continue to bring tight spots for Laura, but she’ll hold out hope for freedom.
