General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, July 25, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will battle temptation while Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) escapes Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). We’ll also see a surprise GH patient who interrupts TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) romantic moment with Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos), so here’s what’s ahead.
For starters, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) relationship will hit a major snag.
Despite Valentin’s attempts to turn on the charm and offer a grand gesture, Anna will ruin the mood and call him out for keeping secrets.
While Valentin faces questions about his clinic lies and why he’s caught up in Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) dealings, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will fish to find out Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) true feelings.
Now that Willow is expecting a sibling for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver), she may wonder if that changes anything for Michael in terms of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) being in the picture.
However, Michael is determined to shut Grandpa Sonny out and may assure Willow he laid down the law at the boxing gym recently.
Speaking of the law, Esme certainly doesn’t want to pay for all her crimes and will have to think fast since Curtis has cornered her.
Curtis found Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) the bartender’s hideout thanks to Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) tip, but Esme wasn’t counting on that.
Now Esme is stuck with an unconscious Oz since she just drugged him into oblivion.
The door will be locked, but Curtis won’t let that stop him from breaking it open and forcing his way in.
It doesn’t look like Curtis will catch Esme, so she may hide or find a back exit strategy.
One way or another Esme will escape Curtis and continue plotting to save herself.
Over with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), they’ll be taken aback when Spencer appears with urgent news.
Spencer will have some Esme updates to pass along, so he may reveal that they’re over – not that they were ever truly back together to begin with.
This could be Spencer’s chance to admit he’s been playing Esme in hopes of clearing Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) name.
Spencer is also lying to Esme through that fake birth mom proof, so there’ll be some good reasons for Nikolas to worry if Spencer drops all these bombs.
Nikolas hoped his hookup secret would be safe as long as Esme had a motive to stay quiet, too.
Now Nikolas will fear Esme might retaliate by revealing she slept with Spencer’s own father.
Next, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will keep his promise to Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and take care of their Felty (Brian Norris) the photographer problem.
Felty will be terrified as Sonny puts him up against a wall somewhere and implies that he could make him vanish.
That’s always a concern when you cross the mob, so Sonny may warn Felty will indeed disappear if he goes near his family again.
Since Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) is Brando’s wife, she falls under the circle of protection.
Sonny will rip into Felty over the pills he supplied Sasha with and will ultimately get violent with him. Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will be nearby looking eager to step up if Sonny asks him to.
As for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), she’ll be having an awful day until something turns it around.
Josslyn will discover something that puts a devious smile on her face, so a curveball is brewing.
It seems Joss’ discovery will happen in the same spot where Sonny blasts Felty.
That could mean Josslyn will spy Sonny’s mob mayhem and work to use it in her favor.
Then again, Esme always seems to land in another mess, so Josslyn could have a helpful Trina angle to work if she spots her with Felty making shady deals.
Regardless, Sonny will finish up with Felty and turn his attention to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) eventually.
Nina may realize what Sonny’s been up to and get a reminder that he’s not as squeaky clean as “Mike” used to be in Nixon Falls.
Josslyn would love it if Nina and Sonny’s relationship imploded, but Carly is more focused on moving on these days.
Although Carly doesn’t want to move too fast with Drew, she’ll get swept up in a romantic scene on Monday and battle temptation.
Drew and Carly will lean in like a lip lock is possible, but it’s doubtful a kiss will happen just yet. That may be partly due to Willow’s medical drama.
Willow will attend a small celebration – presumably related to her pregnancy – with Michael, Carly and Drew on Monday’s show.
That shindig will go awry, so will Willow faint once more?
If so, it could force Willow to finally tell Michael about her elevated white blood cell count.
In the meantime, TJ and Molly’s special moment at GH will get put on hold for a patient that’s brought in.
Will that patient be Willow? Unless Felty ends up needing medical attention following his Sonny run-in, Willow makes the most sense here.
Whatever the case, Carly should wind up concerned after her celebration takes a shocking turn.
General Hospital spoilers say Drew will continue to support Carly through any difficulties she’s facing, so love will keep blooming.
