The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) keeps making promise after promise to protect Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and the kids. Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) is the threat who just won’t quit, so Finn is determined to do whatever it takes to keep his family safe.
However, all of this could’ve been avoided if Finn had handled the situation differently.
Finn has already made his biggest Luna mistake – and it’s a blunder that’s going to blow up his happy family soon enough.
It’s not Finn’s fault that Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) kept him in the dark on Luna’s paternity.
Finn probably should’ve demanded a DNA test early on, but we can’t really blame him for trusting Poppy and believing her lies.
The real problem was what Finn did after he found out he was Luna’s biological father.
Instead of rushing to Luna and blabbing the bio dad news, Finn really should’ve kept his mouth shut.
By spilling to Luna and connecting with her on such a deep emotional level, Finn doomed his family with Steffy, Hayes Finnegan (Bryan David Garlick) and Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras) for trouble.
Luna was fixated on having a relationship with Finn from that very moment – and Finn’s tearful embrace didn’t help matters.
Since Finn already knew about Luna’s horrible crimes, it was a bad idea to confess and open the door to more chaos.
Some might defend Finn since Luna was on house arrest when he came clean, but she’s the kind of gal who’ll stop at nothing to get what she wants.
Finn couldn’t have anticipated Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) arranging Luna’s pardon, but he knew Luna eliminated two men and kidnapped Steffy.
Luna is a wildcard who’s capable of anything, so Finn should’ve been more careful about what he spilled.
That’s especially true since Finn’s confession was pointless!
Finn couldn’t have a real father-daughter relationship with Luna, so he got her all obsessed and riled up for nothing.
Luna wouldn’t be plotting revenge on Steffy and targeting Hayes right now if she was still in the dark on her paternity.
Finn honestly could’ve spared Luna some heartache if he’d just left her wondering about her bio dad – and he certainly could’ve spared his family the additional Luna turmoil that’s brewing.
Of course, then B&B couldn’t deliver this out-of-control Luna storyline, so we get why it was a mistake Finn ultimately had to make – at least from a writing standpoint!
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn will pay the price for that blunder as Luna goes after Hayes and Steffy, so we’ll bring you updates on all the drama.
