The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will get honest – first with himself and then with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang)! Brooke has made repeated attempts to get back together with Ridge, but he always shuts her down and stands by his commitment to Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) instead.
Once the week of June 23-27 gets underway, Taylor will put that commitment to the test.
That’s because Taylor will flip the script on Ridge and deliver a stunning marriage proposal.
Will Ridge be willing to take such a big leap with Taylor?
Ridge and Taylor have been married before, but that doesn’t necessarily mean Ridge will think it’s the right move for them now.
It’s possible Ridge will let Taylor down gently and suggest he likes things the way they are.
Ridge may not see the need for a wedding, so he might try to steer Taylor away from the idea.
Then again, it’s possible Ridge will let Taylor talk him into this engagement – at least for a while.
Ridge may worry about disappointing Taylor like he’s done so many times before.
Either way, it’s easy to see that Ridge won’t be thrilled about this proposal. Ridge’s expression in B&B’s weekly preview video proves that!
No matter what answer Ridge gives Taylor, he’ll have to talk to Brooke about all this later.
Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) will give Brooke updates on Taylor popping the question after witnessing the pair’s conversation at Il Giardino.
That news will set the stage for Brooke to presumably confront Ridge and wonder if he’s really going to remarry Taylor.
This discussion will bring some emotional moments as Ridge finally comes clean.
Since Ridge is going to reveal some sort of truth to Brooke, it sounds like he’ll offer a real explanation for his resistance to a reunion.
Ridge may explain why he’s been pushing Brooke away and standing by Taylor instead.
Will Ridge confess that Taylor’s broken heart syndrome is the real reason why?
Ridge might admit to feeling responsible for Taylor’s medical woes and argue that he just can’t cause her any more heartache.
Of course, we know Ridge and Taylor’s breakup is brewing one way or another in the coming weeks.
It’s possible Taylor will dump Ridge herself if she realizes Brooke is still the woman he truly wants.
