The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, July 23, reveals Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will warn that there’ll be no Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) attention for Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) in Naples. Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) will also confess something during a conversation with Steffy, so some insecurities may start to show.
At Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) mansion, Steffy will complain about Brooke going on this Forrester Italy trip.
However, Taylor will point out that Eric most definitely supports the idea.
Steffy won’t be pleased over Ridge going along with this, but Taylor will argue that it’s a good business decision.
Brooke gets a lot of attention overseas, so Taylor will act like it makes sense for her to tag along.
Nevertheless, Steffy will insist there’s one person who won’t be giving Brooke attention – and that’s Ridge!
If Brooke thinks Ridge is going to dote on her, Steffy will predict that she’ll be wrong about that.
Taylor will appreciate Steffy’s efforts to reassure her, but she’ll point out that they’re not necessary.
Even so, Steffy will acknowledge that Taylor must be frustrated since she just got engaged and now Brooke is flying off to Naples with Ridge.
Taylor will seem a bit hurt as she talks about Eric being thrilled over Brooke’s trip inclusion.
Despite how much Taylor loves and respects Eric, she’ll confess that she knows he’d much rather see Ridge reunite with Brooke.
That’ll be hard for Taylor since she’s been pouring a lot of time and energy into this Ridge reunion.
Taylor wants Ridge’s commitment to last this time around, so she may wish Eric would lay off the matchmaking.
That said, Taylor has been trying to shove down any insecurities and tell herself that she can trust Ridge.
Taylor wants to believe Ridge won’t break her heart again, but could she still be worried deep down?
Whatever the case, there are indeed good reasons to worry since Ridge and Brooke will be pulled together through an upcoming Italy twist.
In the meantime, Ridge will reject the “last chance” Brooke is offering.
That means Brooke will move full-speed ahead on enjoying herself in Naples with Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) – at least for now.
Nick and Ridge have a heated confrontation coming up on Wednesday’s B&B episode, so Brooke will no doubt be their source of hostility.
Finally, Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) will make her way back to Los Angeles, where she’ll catch Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) off guard with her return.
You can bet Daphne’s going to make some waves in Carter and Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) romance in the coming weeks.
Daphne’s presence alone could become Hope’s problem, but there could also be some secrets that cause trouble.
If Daphne slept with Carter and got pregnant before he reunited with Hope, that could certainly lead to issues!
