Dumas will play games with all his guests, so that’ll intrigue and frustrate the key players who have gathered in Nice.
Fortunately, a huge payoff will be waiting on the partygoers who pass Dumas’ tests and complete his challenges.
At the end of all this, Dumas will indeed step out of the shadows and let everyone know who the man behind the mystery is.
Billy Flynn is playing Aristotle Dumas, but that’s just a fake name that’s been used to build this massive empire.
The bigger shocker will come when the attendees realize Dumas is someone they’re already familiar with.
Y&R has offered plenty of clues both on-screen and behind the scenes to suggest that Dumas is actually a Cane Ashby recast.
We should note that Flynn’s voice can be heard in the June 16 episode as Dumas watches the camera feed of his guests.
When Dumas suggests that “it won’t be long now,” he doesn’t have an Australian accent.
In addition to shaving some years off Cane to make him younger, the show’s apparently going to ditch the whole Aussie thing, too.
Cane is getting a major reboot if all the hints add up the way we think they will. However, that won’t be the only secret that comes out at this party.
Amanda is Dumas’ attorney, but there’s a good chance their relationship goes far deeper than that.
Y&R spoilers say Amanda’s true link to Cane will be revealed after Dumas’ identity exposure on June 20.
That certainly makes it sound like Amanda is a lot more than just Cane’s legal counsel!
All signs point to Amanda being romantically involved with Cane, so that should be another revelation to shake up this shindig.
