This party will definitely come with some disasters, so Sally and Billy are going to get pulled into a nightmare.
Naturally, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be a key player in all the drama that’s looming, too.
There are basically neon signs flashing that point to Billy Flynn portraying a Cane Ashby recast who’s finally unveiled with this Dumas revelation.
As a result, Lily’s sure to put her sneaky former husband on full blast, but there’s a thin line between love and hate!
Cane and Lily may start dancing around their feelings again, but things will obviously be messy.
That’s why it feels like the perfect time to do a love quad featuring Lily, Cane, Sally and Billy.
Sally has her guard up when it comes to bad boy Dumas, but she might find herself drawn to him once he’s revealed as Cane.
We all know how much Sally loves to peel back the layers and find the softer side underneath complicated guys.
Billy will no doubt feud with Cane in the coming weeks, so that could bring tension in his relationship with Sally depending on how far he takes his anger.
You can bet Billy isn’t going to like being duped by Cane of all people, so whatever alliance he was hoping for could face a setback.
Since Lily and Billy are exes too, the love quad angle makes sense here.
It’d be easy for Sally, Billy, Cane and Lily to get entangled in a romantic story that jumbles up the pairings a bit.
Y&R could play around with a fresh Sally and Cane romance while exploring a Lily and Billy reunion – at least until Cane and Lily’s romantic reboot inevitably happens down the road.
