Beyond the Gates spoilers for Wednesday, February 18, suggest that Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) will corner Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings), while Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) annoys Grayson Perez (Jordi Vilasuso).
It sounds like Ashley will prove how resourceful she can be, and Grayson should be touched by the gesture, but he’ll be upset about it.
Grayson recently left their date very abruptly after he received a phone call.
This left Ashley with a ton of question marks in her mind, but when the two reconnected at the hospital, he explained that his single mom – who raised him on her own when he was young – is now in a home and got hurt.
Ashley understood, and Grayson also confided that he is doing his best to work overtime to afford his mother’s care.
Will Ashley help hook him up with more work? Or potentially find free or subsidized state services that can help his mother?
It’s hard for BTG fans to shake the idea that Grayson is hiding something. Could he be doing something illegal for extra cash to help fund his mother’s care?
Is that why he left so quickly during their date the week before? Was it for some illegal job potentially linked to the plasma ring that Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) is investigating?
Speaking of illegal, Beyond the Gates spoilers for the February 18 episode imply that Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) will turn to Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) for help.
Bill may ask Joey for assistance in locating the thug who mugged Hayley, as Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) will be placed on a task that could blow up the scam he’s working on.
Randy works for Joey, but is also helping his cousin Hayley off Bill, so he’ll be in quite the pickle if he’s asked to find the person who has mugged her (especially since she wasn’t mugged at all).
Across town, Hayley herself will be cornered by Tomas. Added teasers imply that Tomas will have a few questions for Bill’s wife, so the Junior Partner better tread lightly. He doesn’t realize just how dangerous Hayley is.
Finally, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) will test Nicole Dupree’s (Daphnee Duplaix) feelings for Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson).
Does she tell her about her Valentine’s double date with him, Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman), and Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson)?
Things were awkward at first, but Shanice and Dani did end up bonding over their mutual hate-on for Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant).
Beyond the Gates spoilers hint that Nicole may be juggling two men, but it’s clear that underneath her confident exterior, she is a tad jealous of Ted and Shanice’s romance, so how will she react when she finds out that Shanice and Dani are also getting close?
