On tonight’s Big Brother episode, Devens decided to go big or go home. He went after Rome’s people in the hope of backdooring Rome’s eviction on Sunday. Now, he fractured Rome’s support base. He turned Lala and Melody against Rome. He was slowly going to be working on the others soon enough.
He was in two alliances. He just wasn’t as safe as say Drew. Drew surprisingly kept forming alliances all throughout the house. They all thought of him as harmless when really he practically has a final two agreement with everybody. He was pulling a Vinny move. It burned Vinny and it might burn Drew now. Angela was worried about his game.
Angela has been talking a lot of crap about people behind their backs. Only she’s proven to be smart about it. She talked crap with Devens and Dee because they were her final three.
They were alumni of CBS’s mind games. They knew that people wanted them out of the way. Its why they banded together from night one. Angela talks her talk with Dee like she doesn’t with anyone else because they both have serious each other in the other’s survival. It was Angela who came up with the idea of getting rid of Rome.
She could see he was gaining too much significance in the house. It was threatening her own alliances. Its why she moved against him and the only question she has left after Sunday was how did Jason know that Angela was running this move? Jason came right out and said that Devens was playing Angela’s game.
Angela was still pretending to be friends with him. There’s no way she would tell him about wanting to oust Rome. So, how did he find out? Was Drew getting a little too comfortable around his many friend groups? Or was Angela so bad at lying that Jason figured it out?
There were so many questions yet so little time. The house had to regroup after its second eviction ceremony. Devens had put all the blame for his nominations on Rome. Its just that Rome can quickly turn into an underdog if things get to be too much. Angela kinda did the same by going after Jason too.
She left Drew out of it and she got messy. Jason got as equally as messy. It kinda bogged down the after ceremony. Angela also piled on Rome. She might lose America’s vote next week. What she has going for was that she wasn’t the only one.
Haley also tried to pile on Rome. Rome called her a snarky bitch. Barrett got up out of his chair to keep Rome away from Haley and there was almost a physical altercation in the house. The cameras weren’t showing everything for this feud between Rome and Haley to suddenly spring up out of nowhere.
Hopefully, the people watching the live feeds can mention what’s going on because it was so shocking. Rome got so aggressive with her. He also never apologized to Lala for betraying her. Jason at least apologized to Angela. He saw that he had been a messy b*tch with her.
It was going to be awkward between them for a while now. She at least didn’t throw Drew under the bus directly. It was an improvement for her. Angela created so much chaos that night that both Devens and Dee were loving it. No one was mentioning their names or getting mad at them.
For survivors of literal “Survivor, that was the best news they could ever have. It meant they slipped under the radar. Taylor was glad for that too. She was the only one that seemed to genuinely be on Lala’s side. They befriended each other on night one and have defended each other ever since.
Lala would later pretend to forgive Rome. The truth is that the only person she can rely on was Taylor and now she knows it better than ever. Rome pretended to be an ally. He wasn’t a true ally. Not for her anyways. Rome may even have gotten the idea to bury the hatchet from her because he later approached Devens.
He lied and said no hard feelings. He added that Devens had played a great game. Rome was fuming on the inside only his rage in the nominations had been clearly visible on his face that night. Devens being the friendly guy had said that he liked Rome even more afterwards.
He liked how Rome was playing the game. It’s why he was so dangerous. It didn’t stop Devens from cheering that no one was truly mad at him and he was also glad when Rome didn’t get chosen in the Veto Competition. Instead the people that got nominated to play were Angela and Barrett.
Both of whom were Devens’s real allies. It left things open to backdoor Rome. They got to use the time traveling table to go back to 1967. They were flower children competing for Veto. The one difference being it was all about love in this game.
The winner of the competition proved to be Devens. He won HOH. He’s now won Veto. Will he use it to oust Rome? Melody was hoping he would. She made so many choices at the start and they’ve all come back to bite her. She was friendly with Mallory until Mallory openly badmouth people.
Which caused Melody to pull away from her because she wanted to protect her own game. Lyric did the same and now look at them. They needed Mallory’s vote if they didn’t win the next chance at safety. They knew it. And they still withdraw from Mallory while embracing Drew.
Drew was friends with everyone. Enemies with no one. It didn’t even matter that he was feeding one side of the house to the other side. The one person who seemed to think he was being too slick was Angela and she was trapped as the Hard Boiled Egg Detective. She had to wear an egg costume that was cumbersome when she was awake.
She had to dress like a pilgrim when she went to bed. It was the worst thing ever. Angela was so busy complaining about her costume that she didn’t talk game with Drew or found out about the fake breakup until it was all over the house.
Rome and Lyric pretended to breakup. They thought it would be better for their game this week. Lyric had to sell it so she was flirting with all these other guys and it was making them feel uncomfortable.
Yash liked Rome. He felt so bad for him that Lyric wasn’t just advocating for herself, she was telling everyone that he’s the reason she’s on the block and now she’s single. It wasn’t exactly what Rome had planned. He told her to play up the breakup. He didn’t say she should do something to make him break up with her for real.
Like the man has his pride no matter what he may say.
Other than that, the Veto had to be used. Drew and Angela agreed that Veto should be used on Melody. It would force Rome to lose if he didn’t want to part from his girlfriend.
The one that no one bought they broke up. It was Dee who thought that Lyric would make for a better ally than Melody. Dee got in Deven’s ear. Devens also liked his conversation with Lyric because it was the first time he got a chance to talk to her at all. And so Deven used his Veto to save Lyric, but then he nominated Rome.
The best way to hurt Rome’s game was to leave both of them on the block. Devens shouldn’t have listened to Dee on this one. Dee underestimated Lyric and now its too late to go back.
THE END!
