In tonight’s Big Brother episode, everyone knows or was figuring out was that you can’t keep Angela from being paranoid. She was the paranoid queen. She sees everything. She was turning on Drew and Barrett because she suspected they weren’t all in like they claimed.
They weren’t but that’s not the issue. They were good for the votes. They haven’t sided against anyone in their alliance during a major vote and that was more than enough so early in the game. They appeared to be loyal to the Crossovers even as they talked a lot of crap behind everyone’s back.
That’s been pretty standard for this season so far. There wasn’t a single soul in the house that could rely on or trust anyone else. There’s been a lot of backstabbing.
There’s been a lot of flirting. Lyric pretends that last one is the only superpower she has. Devens and Dee soon realized they had to pull Angela back from her worst tendencies. They tried to convince her in the live feeds not to make a move against either Drew or Barrett. And they forget it’s not paranoia if everyone was truly out to get you.
Angela was right to see alliances forming. She could see how Drew was making himself available to the other half of the house. She knew he was close to Barret and she could sense that Barrett was pulling away from the Crossovers. She wasn’t wrong.
Barrett felt like he was at the bottom of the Toolshed alliance. Drew was cozying up to everyone. Drew thought he was being smart and he was instead being very sloppy. Dee noticed that as well. He was already aligned with the majority. They felt he didn’t need anyone else.
They forget that HOH was determined by competition. They had the HOH competition tonight. Something everyone forgot about as they tried to figure out who was the one eviction vote for Melody. They assumed it was Lyric and she swore it wasn’t her. It genuinely wasn’t her. It was Taylor.
Taylor didn’t tell anyone in the house that it was her because she was the one stand out in a nearly unanimous vote. She hasn’t told her final two either. Does Taylor no longer trust Lala or does she no longer need Lala?
There was so much drama. Yet, the HOH competition snuck on them. They had to watch a wrestling match and practically study it like for an exam. They would later be questioned on what they saw and heard. Mallory didn’t even get to enjoy the matches straight out of the 80s because she was too focused on the details.
She was tired of people aligned with her getting put on the block. She thought the majority were sitting pretty while her side was fighting for scraps. She couldn’t wait to get them out. She just couldn’t do it this week.
Mallory didn’t win HOH. Kamu won it. Kamu was a MMA fighter. He knows how to study a match. He easily won that comp and he had two names already. He considered Mallory and Jason. They were both threats in the house. He knew they would come after him if they won.
Its why he tried to play mind games with them. He later spoke to Mallory. Mallory came upstairs to kiss the ring. She talked game with him. He asked her outright to name who she’d go after if she could. It was a mind game and Kamu wasn’t the only one playing it.
Lyric wrote Rome off with such a quickness. She kissed the ring as well. She said she didn’t vote to keep Rome. She went in for a nice and extra long hug with Kamu. She was doing everything to safeguard herself. She did not learn her lesson after the last showmance.
Only Drew and Melody seemed to have learned that lesson. They were fighting their feelings for each other so hard that it fooled no one. Kamu was like Drew’s my boy and so he wasn’t going to hurt him by nominating Melody as the third on the block. He was more leaning towards Lala.
Kamu has never spoken game with Lala. He figured she was an easy target. Thanks a lot, Rome. Lala seemed like a reasonable choice alongside Jason and Mallory.
Until Kamu let others maneuver him. He suddenly didn’t want to give Jason two tries to take himself off the block. Jason was a backup replacement nominee. Lyric was suddenly a pawn. Kamu did warn her that she was a pawn. He didn’t just throw out her name without discussing it with her first. Kamu later nominated Lyric, Lala, and Mallory.
He nominated three women that weren’t in any of his alliances. All three of those same women were now incredibly upset with him. This included Lyric who knew that pawns go home all the time.
