In tonight’s Big Brother episode, Devens overplayed his hand. His admission to Barrett put him in danger of going home. Barrett was initially going to pass over Devens and he couldn’t do that after Devens put his own arrogance on display. He forced Barrett to nominate him as the third nominee this week. He kinda had to.
Barrett found out the icons bribed Yash to keeping themselves off the board. It was five grand. The same money that was never once offered to Barrett because they just assumed that the Crossover alliance was still strong. It wasn’t.
Barrett was sick of these people. He’s been stuck in a house with them for over a month. He wanted them gone once they began treating him as a stooge. He wasn’t there to do their bidding.
He was in it to win it. There was nearly a million dollars up for grabs and Barrett like everyone else wanted to win. The funny thing is that Barrett bought Yash’s lie that he didn’t accept a bribe when he did. Its why he wouldn’t swear. Angela confronted him about it. Drew then tried to back her up by lying himself. Two lies don’t make a right.
Drew accused of voting out Taylor last week. He made up some completely stupid story about Yash being too afraid of Taylor and her making it to the end so he was the second one to vote her out. Well, she didn’t get voted out. Melody found the whole thing amusing. She knew for a fact that Drew was lying because she voted Taylor out.
They hadn’t gotten around to telling her that they were keeping Taylor so didn’t know where the majority was heading and went the opposite way by mistake. She hadn’t cared that week who stayed or goes.
Taylor didn’t care what anyone had to say. She said this was why she stayed in her pod. She doesn’t interact with most of them. She survived so far by being the outsider and has no reason to change that now that Lala is gone. It was the icons that were falling apart. They were livid because they never saw this coming from Barrett.
They carried him to this point. They thought he wouldn’t turn until the top five at least. Devens talked to Drew about it. Drew pretended not to know anything about the nomination before it happened. And again he was lying.
Barrett warned Drew that he has to make a big move. He was either going to nominate all three icons or at most just two. He went all three because he hasn’t aligned with them in weeks.
He’s been looking to get them out since Mallory left. Mallory was a good friend to him. She had also been aligned with them and they betrayed her the next week like nothing happened. So, this is Barrett’s revenge. It allows him to make a big move in front of jury. It also wins over the majority of the house.
Barrett also made mistakes. He told both Yash and Drew that he’d nominate them to play in Veto if he had the chance. He couldn’t choose both so he was always lying to one.
His luck ran out and he was forced to make a decision. He chose Yash. Drew began feeling betrayed. Especially because he discussed with Barrett what he’d want him to do if he got picked to play in Veto. Its not like Drew was hiding his hands in that one. He asked Barrett if it been okay to use Veto on Angela if he won. Barrett pretended to approve of the idea and really he didn’t want the noms changed.
Just say that. Drew was now in his hating household phase because Angela got to pick someone to play in Veto. She chose Taylor because she figured she could beat her. He felt like no one trusted him and that’s a good feeling seeing as he no one can trust him. Not even Taylor bought his lie earlier about Yash.
She went and found his hairbrush. The one he’s been attached to since day one. She hid that thing from him. That hairbrush was his best friend right now. Taylor smartly hid it in plain sight knowing that Drew would overlook it.
It made Drew testy everyday he couldn’t fix his hair. The man did enjoy checking himself out in the mirror everyday. The whole house jokes about it. Devens even told him that he couldn’t bring a hairbrush with him to “Survivor” and that seemed to devastate him. Taylor was never returning that hairbrush. Not ever.
She’s earned that payback. Drew ended up telling Devens and Angela about the things he discussed with Barrett. With it being the reason he was angry at Barrett right now. It did not go over well. The icons kept threatening Barrett and that makes him more driven to keep his noms the same.
The Veto competition tonight proved to be BB Comics. They had to arrange comic book covers of everyone in the house and they had to do it in order. Yash and Taylor were playing alongside the icons and Barrett. The announced the top three of the competition. Dee came in third. Devens came in second. It was Yash who won Veto. He beat Devens by being twenty-six seconds faster and he does have someone in this house he tells everything. He tells Taylor everything. He told her the truth about the bribe.
He didn’t tell anyone else because he has a working game relationship with them. Taylor was his friend. That’s the difference. Its surprising that the icons forgot that until none of them won Veto. They were freaking out. Melody tried to create a final five with everyone but them. They agreed to a ceasefire. They said they wouldn’t vote each other out until all three icons are out. Drew that was a lie because he had just targeted Yash as well as Taylor last week. Yash knew it to be a lie because he wanted to oust Drew before Drew tried to oust him again.
Still, it was a sweet lie that only Barrett bought into. Devens also tried buttering up Yash and they both knew they couldn’t trust the other so what’s the point. Whoever started the rumor of Yash using his Veto on the icons was just joking around. He’d never do that. He still allowed the nominees to make an argument for his Veto chain and that felt a little like toying with your food. Angela made a speech. Dee told off Barrett. Devens managed to get Barrett to admit that Taylor would’ve been a renom. And then Yash didn’t use Veto.
He kept it. It was the smartest thing to do for his own game. One of the icons have been running this game and now one of them will finally go home tomorrow.
THE END!
