Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) and Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) could be gearing up for an intriguing romance.
At the very least, Theo and Joy could become friends with benefits or have a comforting one-night stand in their future.
In DOOL’s May 19 episode, Theo bumped into Joy at the pub, where they exchanged official introductions.
Of course, Theo also met little Kelsey Kiriakis and came to her rescue by finding her stuffed animal on the floor.
It was a cute moment that Days may have used as a bit of a chemistry test. If that’s the case, we have to ask: Did Joy and Theo ultimately pass that test?
Theo looked great standing next to Joy, who certainly didn’t seem to mind his company.
There wasn’t anything beyond a friendly vibe yet, but Joy and Theo were good scene partners.
It’s easy to imagine Days writers letting this friendship blossom and perhaps turn into something more. Could Theo and Joy get paired up romantically in some way?
Theo is obviously pining for Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) right now and may be hopeful about his own chance with her after Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) breaks things off.
However, Gabi may need some time to heal or simply argue that she doesn’t feel the same way about Theo as he does about her.
That could leave Theo searching for comfort in someone else’s bed – namely, Joy’s!
Joy could experience some pain and frustration of her own due to Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) devotion to Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein).
The more time Joy spends with Alex, the more she may wish he were her man instead, and that they could be a united family with Kelsey.
If Joy faces some Alex roadblocks, Days spoilers suggest she could turn to Theo for support as well.
That could lead to Theo and Joy hitting the sheets – whether it’s a one-time deal or the start of them becoming a couple.
