Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers note that Stephanie Kiriakis’ (Abigail Klein) romance with Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) is sure to blow up her marriage to Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).
In fact, between Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) and Theo’s new budding ‘friendship’ with Stephanie, it’s unlikely Alex and Stephanie will last very long – so let’s unpack the drama!
During the Wednesday, July 15 episode, Stephanie headed to Small Bar for a few drinks to drown out her marital woes.
After all, she and Alex had just had another fight about Joy, and she was stressed about it. There, she met Theo, who was also drinking away his problems.
He not only found out recently that his beloved nonno, Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo), was behind his mom, Lexie Carver’s (Nikki Crawford) brain tumor, but his dad, Abe Carver (James Reynolds), also confessed to him about working with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) to keep him away from DiMera Enterprises!
At first, Theo didn’t want to talk to Stephanie about his family problems, although he was more than happy to hear her trauma dump about the issues she and Alex were facing.
While they were just two friends talking, there were some sparks in the air between them.
In fact, Theo ended up telling Stephanie about what his father did, which seemed like a huge step for him.
Days of Our Lives spoilers point out that Stephanie was further distraught to learn that Alex was spending the night with Joy at the Salem Inn.
Of course, it was not for anything more than to help Joy with Kesley Kiriakis (Mira Belle Chase) as she was dealing with whiplash because of her car accident.
Joy was sore and in pain and was struggling to manage the baby. While Alex had hired a nanny, the person wasn’t going to show up until the next morning, which would’ve meant a rough night for Joy.
Still, Stephanie was rubbed the wrong way by it all, and that’s understandable, too.
When Theo walked Stephanie home, he wasn’t feeling so well, which prompted Stephanie to offer him her couch to sleep on.
Very innocent, but also seemed like a strike against Alex. After all, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander (and all that jazz).
With that said, Joy seems to be lingering in the shadows, longing for an opportunity with Alex, but will Stephanie also get closer and bond with Theo, as well?
Their parents have been besties forever, so they have a connection with that. To boot, Theo is very single and hasn’t had a romantic interest since he returned to Salem.
While he had a crush on Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez), he could have something far more with Stephanie!
Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that if Stephanie and Alex’s marriage seemed doomed when Joy entered the picture, it’s bound to explode as Theo and Steph get closer.
