Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, August 11, reveal that John Oliver will make his first appearance in the new role of Devlin St. John.
Devlin will be a quirky schemer who’s tied to EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) latest cover-up, so here’s what DOOL fans can expect.
TV Insider confirms that Oliver’s character name is indeed Devlin St. John and that he’ll be Salem’s water commissioner.
It seems Devlin has worked out a deal with EJ to hide the truth about all the drug-tainted water drama.
Devlin will share scenes with Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), but he’ll find it isn’t so easy to fool the mayor!
Days spoilers say Devlin will also share scenes with EJ and Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney) this week, so stay tuned to watch Devlin shake things up.
In the meantime, Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) will conceal his growing concerns about Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) from Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and hope to make his dad’s birthday celebration fun despite his private fears.
However, Theo will have a rather intense conversation with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) later and perhaps realize Lexie blabbed to her about the resurrection drug failing.
As for Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), she’ll speak with Marlena as well before turning her attention to Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd). It looks like recent eavesdropper Cat may spill about EJ’s decision to hide dying Lexie.
Days spoilers say Chad will have an important request for Cat, so she may help him sneak into the tunnels with Theo in the coming episodes.
Until then, Belle Black (Martha Madison) will speak with Marlena and perhaps try to get her mom on board with her continued investigation.
Marlena will remain worried about Belle and Chad stirring up trouble related to Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo), so she’ll wish they’d just let any old secrets stay buried.
Belle will spell out why she still wants to pursue this with Chad, but Marlena will fear horrible news is brewing.
Other Days spoilers say Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will do his best to bargain with Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte).
Perhaps Leo will make Dimitri believe a future between them is possible if Dimitri will at least let Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) go.
Since Dimitri is currently holding all the cards here, he’ll insist on taking both hostages to the new hideout he’s been hinting about.
Although Dimitri will want to make sure Leo and Gwen will never be found, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is on the verge of showing up and derailing his plot.
