Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) knows better than anyone how obsessed Billy can get and how his fixations tend to derail his life.
That’s why Cane will talk to Jack about Billy’s new mission to uncover whatever secret Jill Abbott (last played by Lauren Koslow) buried in Chancellor.
Cane may express doubt that this secret even exists and seek Jack’s help to keep Billy focused on his actual career.
Next, Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) drug-fueled night with Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow) will lead to another type of rock bottom.
Nick already hit one version when he overdosed and nearly died in Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) office, but he’ll sink to another low place and realize just how much help he actually needs.
Although things will get worse before they get better, Nick will eventually hope he can get his act together and break free of his addiction.
