Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein) and Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) marriage will continue to be put to the test.
Ever since Alex and Stephanie tied the knot, their lives have been spinning out in terrible, unpredictable ways.
Alex couldn’t stop Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey) from kidnapping Stephanie and doing some serious mental damage.
Now Stephanie’s struggling to work through her trauma and feels like Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) is the only person she can really talk to.
Of course, that’s hurting Alex since he can’t be the one to step up for his own wife.
Alex and Stephanie should still be in the happy honeymoon period of their marriage, but they’re already facing issues that are threatening to tear them apart.
Although Alex will keep trying to get through to Stephanie and put their relationship back on track, his plans will fail miserably – at least for now.
Days spoilers say Alex will have a hard time knowing how to handle Stephanie’s problems.
Unfortunately, Alex has some problems of his own; he just doesn’t realize it yet!
DOOL fans will recall that when Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) left town, she was secretly pregnant with Alex’s baby.
Joy lied about the pregnancy test results proving it was a false alarm, so Alex was able to focus on his romance with Stephanie.
However, once Joy returns to Days starting April 24, she’ll presumably have Alex’s infant son or daughter with her.
Alex and Stephanie have already been dealing with tons of tension, but Joy’s comeback and baby news could make things a lot worse!
Days spoilers hint this may be too much for Stephanie to handle under the circumstances.
Will Stephanie totally check out of the marriage once Joy brings all this baby drama back to Salem?
Will Stephanie tell Alex that their wedding was a mistake and that she wants a divorce?
Stephanie may admit she can barely take care of herself right now and insist she’s in no condition to play stepmom to Alex’s new baby with Joy.
The idea of taking that on right now may be too much for Stephanie to bear.
