Days of Our Lives (DOOL) preview video for the week of September 28-October 2 reveals that Chanel Dupree DiMera’s (Raven Bowens) baby shower will take a wrong turn.
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will also get caught on an alarming phone call.
Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will push Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney) for answers too, so there’ll be a lot happening in Salem.
DOOL’s weekly promo kicks off with Chanel’s baby shower gathering, which leaves her wondering why everyone is laughing so hard.
Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) will seem like she has a pretty good guess, so she may realize there’s been a mix-up in the kitchen.
It looks like Days will offer up a nod to the pot doughnut book club meeting, which aired back in 2013.
JJ DiMera’s (Casey Moss) batch of special doughnuts wound up being accidentally served with hilarious results.
Since Chanel has been having some pot-infused treats to help with her chemo effects, it looks like the wrong batch of doughnuts will get gobbled up at her baby shower.
Other Days spoilers say Sarah Horton (Linsey Godrey) will deliver bad news to Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer).
Sarah’s about to be dragged in a public announcement about the wrongful death suit, so Xander will make it his mission to clear Sarah’s name.
It won’t be long until Xander corners EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) over the setup and tosses some threats around.
Johnny will also speak with EJ over the phone or at least leave a voicemail questioning whether his dad’s to blame for the lawsuit.
That’ll give Chanel a chance to overhear and realize Johnny is up to his eyeballs in DiMera cover-up drama.
Johnny may finally crack under the pressure soon and make a full confession to Chanel.
At the Salem Inn, it looks like Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) will mull over a counterfeit handbag that gets delivered.
Philip will get tangled up in that drama and resolve to help Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) in any way he can.
Finally, Marlena will corner Rita and push her to tell the truth about Dominic Marino.
Although Marlena saw her own name listed as Dom’s mother on his birth certificate, she’ll want Rita’s confirmation.
