General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, May 1, reveals that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) faced a shocker while she was in bed.
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) also grew suspicious of Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) while Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) faced a curveball.
At GH, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) confessed she’d known Josslyn was WSB since The Five Poppies, but she didn’t out her to Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) since they’d eliminate her.
Britt also explained that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) had worked to keep Josslyn’s WSB involvement hidden from Cullum, who bought the ditzy sorority girl act.
Cassius Faison aka “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) was concerned about all the questions Josslyn had been asking, but Britt acted like she was mostly interested in Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) after finding his book and cigarillos at Wyndemere.
Cassius just needed to avoid Josslyn “like the plague” and keep pretending he was upstanding Nathan according to Britt.
After Britt insisted Josslyn couldn’t mess up the plans for the project, Cassius made it clear that Joss wouldn’t.
Meanwhile, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) offered to skip the fun at The Savoy tonight, but Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) refused to let him back out and sent him on his way.
That gave Brick (Stephen A. Smith) a chance to stop by with flowers and some funny stories, so Jordan shared some laughs and genuinely seemed to appreciate the visit.
At their apartment, Josslyn told Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) that she totally forgot about their plans tonight and needed to study for finals.
Trina pushed Josslyn to take a break and come see Michael James Scott perform at The Savoy anyway, so Joss said she’d try to meet her there later.
Once Trina was gone, Josslyn donned an all-black outfit and had a bag with some supplies.
Josslyn disguised her voice a bit as she called Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) about Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) fake dinner reservation at Café Cherie, which led to her getting confirmation that Nina was in a meeting.
Josslyn was about to turn her attention to “Nathan’s” location when he showed up at her door and caught her off guard.
“Nathan” acted like he was there to make a pitch about being regular workout buddies.
Josslyn wound up telling “Nathan” about her conversation with Nina, who got the wrong idea and assumed Joss had a crush on him.
Josslyn knew “Nathan” was with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), but she brought up Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and the Fourth of July handcuff story that Nina told her.
“Nathan” clearly didn’t know what Josslyn was talking about, but he did his best to cover.
As Josslyn tried to wrap things up, she talked about wanting to get a run in before it was too late.
Cassius grabbed Josslyn’s arm and sternly insisted it was already too late.
At The Savoy, Brook and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) shared a night out while Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) was babysitting Phoebe.
Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and Cody spoke to Chase and Brook Lynn, who got rattled over talk about Jordan’s crash and the other driver who fled the scene.
Brook Lynn shut the conversation down by acting like this was supposed to be a happy night.
As Brook Lynn faced more guilt, she once again tried to push Trina into singing professionally.
Brook Lynn also let Curtis know she was sorry to hear about the accident and was on edge over him wanting the PCPD to find the other driver.
Cody privately called Brook Lynn out for having the same look she had back at camp when she asked him to take her to the bus station.
Brook Lynn tried to downplay things, but Cody was there if she ever needed him.
Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup), Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) were also at The Savoy as everyone awaited Michael James Scott’s performance.
At Carly’s place, she got into a big fight with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) while he was making dinner.
Carly was still upset over Valentin’s phone call to the clinic and the chances of it exposing his location.
Valentin thought Carly was jealous of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and ultimately stomped back up to the attic.
Carly broke a plate before rushing up to the attic after him, so Valentin kissed her passionately before they took things to the bedroom
After Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) wrapped up his conversation with Brennan in his office, he found Britt at GH.
Sonny delivered news on Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) being at a black site in Jakarta and offered to look out for Britt while Jason was gone.
Britt insisted she was fine, but Sonny made it clear that the offer stood if she changed her mind.
Back at Carly’s place, Brennan entered the kitchen and the broken plate shards on the floor.
Brennan also took note of the two wine glasses and headed to Carly’s bedroom, where he barged in and found her under the covers alone.
“Where is he?!” Brennan demanded to know as Carly looked at him in shock.
