General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that love rarely lasts forever on soaps. Some characters will get a reminder of that in the coming months, so we should consider which couples may be destined to split.
There are at least four breakups that seem to be brewing on ABC’s GH. With that in mind, we should dive in and talk about the romantic duos headed for disaster.
1) Carly and Brennan’s split becomes official
For starters, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) relationship is basically already over, even if Brennan doesn’t know it yet!
Brennan is in for a rude awakening when he realizes Carly has been harboring fugitive Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) AND cooked up a takedown plot with him.
You can bet Brennan’s going to be hurt and furious, so his split from Carly will become official. Even if Carly and Brennan get back together at some point, they can’t avoid the disastrous blowup that’s just around the corner.
2) Willow ruins Michael & Jacinda’s relationship
Meanwhile, another romantic blowup could be in store if Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) gets her way. Willow doesn’t want Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) around the kids and will go to extremes to get Jacinda out of Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) orbit.
That could mean that Jacinda and Michael’s romance is headed downhill fast. If Willow succeeds in ruining Michael and Jacinda’s relationship, they may face a breakup of their own in the end.
3) ‘Nathan’ and Lulu’s romance is doomed
Of course, we have to discuss Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and “Nathan West” aka Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) since deception is at the core of their own romantic involvement. “Nathan” and Lulu aren’t meant to last since he’s lying to her about his true identity.
Lulu would be appalled if she knew Cassius was masquerading as Nathan while secretly working for Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).
It’s true that Cassius is risking a lot for Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) with the shooter cover-up, but that doesn’t cancel out all the lies he’s told.
Cassius has a sinister side that may come out more as this storyline moves along, so Lulu and “Nathan” certainly won’t live happily ever after!
4) Jordan dumps Curtis over trauma and scarring
As for Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), it’s clear that she’s suffering from some post-crash trauma.
Between that and Jordan’s fears about permanent scarring, she may start to push Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) away in the months ahead.
Jordan’s concerns about her appearance could certainly affect her confidence in this relationship.
There’s also the matter of the baby that’s coming and the fact that Curtis will have to co-parent this little one with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).
If all this becomes too much for Jordan, she just might dump Curtis and kick him out of her place.
