General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) storyline could leave him right back where he started if he’s not careful.
It’s clear that Drew hasn’t learned his lesson or mellowed in any way, so he could face another bullet or two eventually!
In the July 29 episode, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) lashed out when Drew vowed to keep Scout Quartermaine (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) away from her.
Drew is pulling the same old restraining order drama and trying to block Scout’s own family.
Since Drew is acting like he did back when he got shot, Alexis suggested someone could fire at him again and try to finish the job.
Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) is the one who previously pulled the trigger, but someone else might go after him this time around.
We could even imagine someone trying to frame Willow for that crime under the circumstances.
Willow might land back on the hot seat if her soon-to-be former husband finds himself fighting for his life with another gunshot wound.
Some might argue that Drew has been through enough, especially considering the fake stroke he had to put up with.
Thanks to Willow and the paralytic injections that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) supplied, Drew wasn’t able to move or speak for months.
Drew deserves some sympathy for that, but attacking Alexis and trying to prevent Scout from seeing Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) side of the family is uncalled for.
Drew doesn’t get a pass for that, so he’s still someone many fans are rooting against at this point.
Of course, GH writers may not do a full-blown whodunit if Drew really does get shot again.
Viewers might see who’s to blame right off the bat this time, so that’s an option to consider.
Regardless, it’s possible that Alexis will be proven right about one of Drew’s enemies targeting him in the coming months.
