General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of July 6-10 suggest that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) may ask Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to investigate Cassius Faison’s (Ryan Paevey) passing.
After all, even though WSB Head, Z (John Oliver), declared that Cassius didn’t make it during the Friday, July 3 episode, a lot of fans aren’t buying it!
Even Ryan Paevey recently hinted that Cassius may not be gone by reposting an Instagram story from Justiceponderinc about his character’s demise, with an “Only time will tell….” comment.
This had GH viewers buzzing, so it does feel as if the character’s passing could be an elaborate cover-up by the WSB.
But let’s rewind. During the Friday, July 3 episode, Z did tell Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) that Cassius didn’t survive the shootout, but Liesl wasn’t in the loop at that point.
She went to visit Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) at the PCPD that day to hash things out about all the lies her daughter told, including cluing her mother in about another son she had!
Liesl was told that Cassius status post-Wyndemere shoot-out was ‘classified information’ by the agency at that point.
To be honest, it was more than odd that the WSB hadn’t informed his own mother that he had passed away.
She’s bound to learn about it at some point during the week of July 6-10, but considering what she is told, and how the information is presented to her, she may not believe the agency.
Liesl is a brilliant doctor, but also knows how the WSB works.
While she’s always been on the other side of the law when it comes to this organization, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t know protocol.
There might also be something about Cassius’ vitals or healthcare-related that doesn’t sit right with Liesl when she’s told.
Either way, she won’t believe Cassius gone, and something in her gut may be telling her something else is going on.
Anna will return to Port Charles this week, so General Hospital spoilers indicate her loved ones will throw her a ‘welcome home’ bash as they’ll be thrilled she’s returned to PC.
Still, fans know that Anna has done a stellar job hiding that she’s not as mentally stable as she’s tricked people into believing.
Liesl will approach Anna for help, and it might be about Cassius’ passing. Still, could this trigger Anna to spiral and let her crazy show?
After all, Anna was the one to spill the beans about Cassius parading around as Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) to Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), thanks to the letter she found.
General Hospital spoilers note that, as Anna is unhinged, it’ll be hard to see what her reaction is to Liesl’s request and whether or not she’ll agree to assist her, all things considered.
Liesl’s request might also fall in line to the deadly plans Anna may have up her sleeve too, so only time will tell.
