General Hospital (GH) spoilers imply that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) could escape police custody, and if he does, there’s a good chance Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) could die trying to capture the villain.
GH fans were shocked recently when reports revealed that Brennan was exiting the canvas, as McKenna is slated to leave the show.
This is all supposed to happen in the fall, and apparently, Brenna will be killed off.
This has led to massive speculation on how Brennan will depart storylines.
As the WSB Chief for Port Charles, it’s hard not to think his exit won’t be linked to his super spy duties.
During the Thursday, August 6 episode, Brennan had an interesting scene with Port Charles Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
These two don’t often share scenes, and their chat was a little random to say the least.
Whenever something of this nature happens, GH can’t help but think there will be more to this story later on.
Regardless, Laura questioned Brennan as to why the WSB hadn’t taken Sidwell out of Port Charles.
Brennan noted that because of the recent WSB scandals, the organization thought it would be best to let the local authorities handle the villain, but if she needed him, he’d step in.
This seems like a foreshadowing hint that danger could be looming in the near future.
Could Sidwell be linked to Brennan’s passing? After all, Sidwell may escape custody come the fall, either close to his trial or in and around that time.
This might be an “all hands on deck” situation that pulls Brennan in where he’s working with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and the rest of the PCPD to locate the criminal and bring him to justice.
Especially considering that Sidwell has beef with the Port Charles mayor.
Plus, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) may also be danger, as they did work closely together at one point.
Brennan has gotten so close to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), so the WSB Chief could be desperate to locate Sidwell so he can keep his gal pal and her daughter safe.
Plus, Brennan vowed to Laura that he’d help any way he could, so it’s not hard to imagine he’d make it his mission to bring Sidwell back to prison so he could finally receive some justice for all the heinous crimes he committed.
It’s also not difficult to envision a ‘showdown’ scenario between Sidwell and Brennan, where the villain gains the upper hand, and Brennan dies the way he lived: a hero.
General Hospital notes that it’ll be a sad day in Port Charles as Brennan exits in a blaze of glory, so audiences will have to tune in to see how this all ends up unravelling.
