General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, April 23, reveal that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) will sit down for a meeting with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) while Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) tries to alert Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) to his distress.
Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) will also kick off their New York City trip, so there’ll be a lot happening on the ABC soap.
First, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) will sit down with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), who might question her about Ethan Lovett’s (Nathan Owens) return and whether it’s awkward having her old crush around.
Kristina has a “you got me” response in Thursday’s GH episode, but she may assure Sonny that she’s only looking for Ethan’s friendship and not a romance at this point.
Speaking of Ethan, he’ll have a reunion and a catch-up session with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
That’ll bring Tracy’s chance to interrogate Ethan, but he’ll suggest she shouldn’t ask questions that she doesn’t want answers to.
Ethan will also be the topic of conversation when Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) pays Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) a visit to ask what she knows about him.
Ric doesn’t trust Ethan and will be eager to get Alexis’ take on Sonny’s decision to hire him.
Of course, Sonny knows Ethan is hiding something, but he feels like it’s a good idea to keep Ethan close and figure out what it is.
That plan will move forward despite Ric’s growing concerns about Ethan and his new position in Sonny’s organization.
If Ric also hints at unsettling Willow news during this conversation, Alexis may end up on edge.
Thanks to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Ric is worried about Willow potentially hurting Drew again or even Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), so he may fish for info from Alexis.
Regardless, Willow will sit down for a meeting with Brennan in her office and deliver a proposal.
Brennan will listen as Willow suggests that they’re in a position to help one another.
Willow may acknowledge that Nina’s been stalling on betraying Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and delivering the Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) intel that Brennan needs.
Willow will be desperate to stop Brennan from leaking the traffic cam footage, so she may promise he’ll get what he asked for and hope the evidence stays buried.
Next, Elizabeth will spend some time with Drew, so she may volunteer to watch him while Willow’s in this meeting if another caregiver isn’t available.
Drew will make another attempt to blink SOS, so Liz will wonder if he needs help and may struggle to understand what’s going on with him.
Will Willow return and shut down Drew’s attempt to answer Elizabeth’s questions? Will Liz walk away with suspicions anyway?
As for Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), he’ll tell Ava Jerome (Maura West) that when someone crosses him, there’s no going back.
Sidwell will make it clear that he doesn’t stand for betrayals, but Ava may assure him that she’s completely in his corner.
Finally, Gio and Emma will begin their New York City adventure, so they’ll check out some of Gio’s favorite spots and pose for pics during all the fun.
