General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) has reached a breaking point.
The stress of drugging Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and dealing with Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) orders has taken a toll, so Willow is struggling to contain her emotions.
That’s why when Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) showed up in GH’s May 28 episode, Willow couldn’t really hide her anguish anymore.
Chase saw through whatever armor Willow was trying to keep up and pushed her to talk to him, so Willow’s tears started flowing.
Willow ultimately confessed she didn’t want to be married to Drew anymore, so she’s getting more vulnerable with her ex.
Chase obviously doesn’t know the whole story, but Willow feels a sense of safety with him that she can’t get from anyone else.
On May 29, Willow will open up a little more about how trapped she feels.
Chase may assume Willow means this “stroke” recovery isn’t what she signed up for and argue that anyone would feel overwhelmed in her position.
Chase won’t think Willow should feel bad about that, but Willow will talk about being guilty of so much.
Willow may not admit to shooting Drew or dosing him with a paralytic, but she may insist she’s not a good person.
Chase won’t want Willow thinking like that and will no doubt try to comfort her.
Willow’s pain will leave her desperate for a life raft, so Chase will step up and try to keep her afloat.
Since Willow will feel like she’s drowning in this sea of turmoil, Chase will come to her rescue.
Willow’s sorrow may bring some burning desires, so will Willow’s lust lead to her winding up in Chase’s arms?
Chase may embrace Willow and could perhaps surrender to her kiss if she plants one.
It’s easy to imagine Willow getting carried away in this emotional moment and stealing a lip lock from her former flame.
That could pave the way for a full-blown affair if Willow and Chase aren’t careful.
Chase and Willow may be in danger of crossing a major line, which is what Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is rooting for.
