General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, August 11, reveals that Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) agreed to take off after Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) gave her a parting gift.
Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) got sentenced to prison off-screen thanks to the bargain his lawyers made for him, so here’s how Tuesday’s exciting GH episode went down.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Michael told Jacinda that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) nearly got in the car with the children while she was high last night.
Jacinda reeled over putting Michael’s children in danger, but she was relieved to learn Michael got rid of the coffee cup with her fingerprints on it.
Since Willow would inevitably point the finger at Jacinda anyway, Michael felt he had to break up with her.
Michael also thought it was best if Jacinda left town, but he convinced her to accept the new bank account he set up for her.
Although Michael wanted Jacinda to live a happy life, the only life she wanted was the one she was leaving behind.
Nevertheless, Jacinda understood this is how things had to be and ultimately exited after a tough farewell with Michael.
At Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) penthouse, Willow was hazy over what happened last night as she woke up.
Nina admitted Michael had been there with a passed-out-cold Willow when she came home.
Willow knew she didn’t get drunk or high – at least not on purpose.
After Willow realized she must’ve been drugged, it didn’t take her long to determine that Jacinda was to blame.
Willow ranted about making Jacinda pay for this along with Michael and wanted to get a blood test to prove the drugging.
Nina pointed out that Jacinda had retaliated after Willow’s restraining order, so she thought it was best to avoid escalating things even further.
Nevertheless, Willow stood her ground and left Nina uneasy about what was going to happen next.
At the Metro Court Gardens, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) joined Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) for breakfast and pushed for a new mission since she was eager to get back in the field.
Brennan said Josslyn would get one when he decided she was ready.
Although Josslyn was almost cleared physically, Brennan was more concerned about her mental state after killing multiple people on such a wild assignment.
Josslyn reassured Brennan before shifting tactics a bit and mentioning the CEO position that Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) was trying to push her into.
Although Josslyn ultimately downplayed Jax’s move as family drama, Brennan seemed uneasy and wanted to take a deeper look into the situation.
Nina eventually sent out an SOS to Brennan over the phone, so he came running to help her deal with the latest round of Willow chaos.
At the Metro Court pool, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) kept having to say no to all the fun plans Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) made for them due to commitments related to his music contract.
Emma put on a smile and assured Gio of her support, but it was easy to see she was disappointed and concerned about how his new gig was already affecting their relationship.
Once Gio returned to the Quartermaine estate and found Michael looking somber, he realized something was wrong.
Michael hinted that things were about to get worse just before Willow burst in and demanded full custody of her kids starting right now.
At the courthouse, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) congratulated Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) on her big win in court.
Molly didn’t consider it much of one since Sidwell agreed to a plea deal instead of going on trial.
Molly shocked Cody with the news that Sidwell was behind Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) collapse and coma since that came out in discovery.
Sidwell got 31 years in prison, but he’d be eligible for parole “after 26 and change.”
After Cody hit the pool with Molly, he had a chance to meet his half sibling, Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger), after Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) brought her over for some introductions.
Back at the Metro Court Gardens, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) met with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and shocked her by revealing he helped Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) save her the night of the accident.
Since Jordan was knowledgeable when it came to Sidwell’s assets that were about to go up for auction, Valentin sought valuable intel.
Jordan offered up a couple of tips to repay Valentin for the rescue, but she suggested negotiating a consulting fee for more.
General Hospital spoilers say Jordan will continue to make strategic moves when it comes to using her Sidwell link, so stay tuned.
