General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, September 1, reveals that Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) put a body disposal plan in motion.
Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) also made a crucial mistake that could come back to haunt her!
After Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) saw that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) was the body in the pool and that he had no pulse, he convinced Charlotte that they should run instead of calling the cops.
Outside the Quartermaine boathouse, Charlotte and Danny discussed the ding he made in Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) truck while borrowing it.
Scout Quartermaine (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) emerged from the boathouse, so that led to them confronting Danny and Charlotte over what they were hiding.
Charlotte and Danny covered by acting like this was about Chase’s damaged truck.
Danny wound up insulting Drew and got into a fight with Scout before she left with Rocco.
Charlotte remained jumpy over their Brennan discovery and panicked even more when she realized her bracelet was missing.
In Brennan’s suite, Drew rummaged around looking for the blackmail material, but Ava felt they had to get out of there since Jack could be coming back.
Drew argued that Brennan was presumably taking a nap somewhere due to his sleeping pill, but Ava worried he’d return to his room and convinced Drew to bail on his mission.
Once Ava and Drew made it to the Metro Court pool, they were horrified to find Brennan’s dead body floating in it.
Ava worried this would trace back to her due to the sleeping pill and the drinks she shared with Brennan since they had been seen together.
Since Ava wasn’t going down for this alone, Drew agreed to a cover-up.
Drew got Ava’s help fishing the body out of the pool, so they put Brennan in a laundry cart and covered him with towels.
Ava and Drew prepared to use the service elevator to sneak the corpse off hotel property.
On Brennan’s wrist, fans could see that Charlotte’s bracelet had gotten caught on his sleeve.
After Carly realized the security system had been shut down, she called Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) for assistance on Tuesday’s GH episode.
Jason helped Carly determine that someone likely targeted it with a virus.
Carly and Jason wondered if Brennan’s stay at the Metro Court was somehow a factor in all this, so they decided to go investigate his room.
There were signs that the place had been searched, so Jason pointed that out upon his arrival with Carly.
At Haven, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) sought guidance from Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) about how to navigate his double date with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Isaiah Gannon (Brook Kerr) tonight.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was surprised to find Lulu advising Ric, but she privately informed her ex that she’d gotten to know Ric a bit due to his defense of Rocco.
Dante also spoke to Lulu about Rocco being more withdrawn lately and admitted he went to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) with his concerns.
Lulu understood why Dante did, but she wanted to leave Britt out of it next time.
Dante and Lulu agreed to give Rocco some space to make his own mistakes so that he would hopefully come to them if he needed to confide something.
At the Metro Court restaurant, Ric faked a smile over Dante being Elizabeth’s softball coat during the double date conversation.
Liz, Ric, Portia and Isaiah ultimately had a nice dinner together.
At the Cat’s Eye Lounge, Simon Craft (Grady Eldridge) remained stuck on the idea of Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Trina Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) fake couple status being the best way to sell them as a performing duo.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) downplayed things and eventually got some sweet words from Gio since his mom got him back into music.
Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) showed their support at the gig by wearing “Trino” T-shirts.
However, Simon pulled Kai aside to advise against holding Trina back.
Quinn (Jequan Jackson) also showed up to watch Trina perform with Gio.
Although Quinn privately told Emma that Trina still didn’t trust him, he wanted to make things right and insisted Trina was pretty great.
Simon left after Gio and Trina’s first song to take care of some business, but Brook Lynn made it clear that he liked what he heard before he left.
Trina’s stalker board was shown soon after as the person watching her added a picture to the board.
As for Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel), he was irritated over Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) insisting that they meet at the Cat’s Eye Lounge.
However, Josslyn impressed Hudson by finding something to ditch in the contract she went over.
Hudson also seemed to enjoy the performance and relaxed a little in the end.
