General Hospital Wednesday, April 29 Recap: Willow & Chase’s Cheating Trap – ‘Nathan’ & Lulu’s Explosive Fight

General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, April 29, reveals that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) plotted against Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) while “Nathan West” aka Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) had a faceoff that turned fierce.

At home in the kitchen, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) shooed Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) out the door when she heard Michael coming.

During Michael’s visit with Carly, he revealed his plan to neutralize Willow by giving her a nudge to have an affair with Chase.

If Willow’s political scandal ruined her, she’d no longer have the same power against Michael when it came to their children.

Carly wondered if Michael really wanted to blow up Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) life and marriage, but he acted like she deserved to see the real Chase.

Besides, Michael only planned to create the right circumstances for cheating and help things along.

If Chase made the decision to cheat, that was on him and not Michael.

Once Michael was gone, Carly reconvened with Valentin and pushed him not to kill Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) in his upcoming trap.

If Valentin did that, he’d have to disappear – and Carly clearly didn’t want that after already losing Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Carly said they should stick to the plan to exonerate Valentin and leave Brennan holding the bag.

“Then when we ambush Jack, we need something he fears more than either of us,” Valentin insisted.

At Crimson, Brennan visited Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and wanted to reset the tone of their relationship to something less combative.

Jack agreed to stop pushing Nina to get Valentin intel from Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke), but he hoped Nina would notify him if Charlotte shared anything useful.

Charlotte was cold to Nina when she entered her office later.

Nina tried to apologize for letting Charlotte down, but Charlotte acted like she wasn’t surprised since she was never really Nina’s daughter.

Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) tried to bond with Charlotte soon after and seemed like she was on the verge of scoring Valentin info, but Michael interrupted.

Although Jacinda was disappointed over the setback, Michael made it clear that he had another plan in motion to deal with Willow.

In the park, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) bumped into Brook Lynn while she was out for a stroll with Phoebe.

Brook Lynn noted that it was taking longer to find Phoebe’s family than anticipated and wondered about the possibility of adopting her if no relatives surfaced.

Alexis pointed out that could be tricky since other adoptive parents were already waiting for a baby, so Brook Lynn and Chase couldn’t just jump to the front of the line.

That said, Alexis was willing to help Chase and Brook Lynn try to keep Phoebe if they were on the same page.

However, Brook Lynn seemed uneasy when Alexis suggested they’d both have to face background checks and answer for everything they’d ever done.

Meanwhile, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) spoke to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) about his theory that Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) was the other driver on the road that night.

Laura suggested the other driver may not have even known there was a crash and wondered if Curtis’ negative feelings toward Isaiah made him want to believe Isaiah was guilty.

In the end, Laura felt that Curtis should let the cops handle this while he gave Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) his full attention.

At GH, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) fished for Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) info and covered with Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) by acting like she was hoping he might remember something that could help Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), even inadvertently.

Lucas doubted that before talk turned to Josslyn’s fears that Carly might do something reckless with Jason gone.

After Lucas hinted about Josslyn being right to worry, he admitted Carly was cheating on Brennan with another man.

The wheels started turning for Josslyn as she flashed back to confronting Carly over Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) living in her attic.

Lucas thought maybe Carly was back with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), but Josslyn shut down that idea.

Over with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), she spoke to Willow about Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) recent SOS.

Willow suggested Drew did that all the time and claimed it was just his way of expressing frustration with being locked in.

Willow claimed she’d already considered additional communication tools, but she played it like Drew would think she was giving up on his ability to fully recover.

Afterward, Willow headed to Nina’s office, filled her in on the Liz situation and felt that she needed Drew leverage ASAP.

Once Brennan found Josslyn waiting in his suite, he lashed out over her taking risks that could prove fatal.

Josslyn acted like Brennan only wanted to protect her because of his relationship with Carly.

After Josslyn delivered the news that Brennan was too late, she added that he’d already lost Carly.

At Lulu’s place, “Nathan” admitted Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) divulged his shooter secret to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

Since Rocco couldn’t keep a lid on things, “Nathan” wanted to send him away for his own good.

“Nathan” suggested there must be some baseball camp or something with school almost out for the summer.

Lulu was appalled over “Nathan” treating Rocco like a burden to be shipped off.

Angry “Nathan” got pretty intense as he tries to make Lulu see things his way, but she didn’t appreciate him telling her how to deal with her child.

Once Isaiah showed up with more medication for Rocco, Lulu told “Nathan” that Isaiah had treated Rocco no questions asked.

“Nathan” wondered how much Isaiah was aware of, but Isaiah only knew Rocco hurt his hand.

Although “Nathan” was concerned about Issiah’s involvement in all this, Isaiah argued that he couldn’t tell anyone about his house call anyway due to doctor-patient confidentiality.

General Hospital spoilers say Isaiah has some other tight spots ahead of him, so stay tuned.
