General Hospital Wednesday, April 8 Recap: Valentin Saves Jordan & Runs Off, Carly Covers Up for Danny & Charlotte

General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, April 8, reveals that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) stepped up to help Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) before fleeing the car crash site.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) also tried to make Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte Cassadine’s (Bluesy Burke) accident like it never happened.

At Charlie’s Pub, Ava Jerome (Maura West) showed up late since she didn’t want to intrude on Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) performance, but Trina planned to invite Ava next time around.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) seemed on edge once she finally arrived and spoke with Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), who was sorry for not telling her about the performance in advance.

Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) felt like Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) was rushing around and not really getting a chance to appreciate her big night.

That led to Jacinda taking the stage for a song and some celebratory words for Kristina.

At one point, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) quizzed Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), which gave Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) an opening to question why Anna was obsessed with Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) being alive.

Emma didn’t know and wondered why Josslyn would ask, so Joss claimed she found Faison’s book in the library with Anna on the cover.

At Wyndemere, Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) brought Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) in so she could give Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) answers in person.

Sidwell didn’t want answers and pushed Cassius to get rid of Britt permanently.

Cassius objected to eliminating his sister and pushed Sidwell to hear Britt out instead.

Sidwell wasn’t interested since Britt nearly ran off with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), who he assumed killed Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Cassius argued that based on the PCPD’s intel, the timeline didn’t fit.

Jason was busy attacking Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in the high school parking lot before he met up with Britt on the pier.

Cassius insisted that if Sonny went after Marco, he didn’t send Jason to do it.

Britt acted like Jason talked her into running and claimed to realize it was stupid, so she was willing to do anything if Sidwell would let her live.

Ava eventually interrupted and jokingly asked if someone was under arrest.

Sidwell explained that “Nathan” brough Britt there to discuss a project she was working on for him.

Sidwell decided they were all on the same page about the project continuing without delays, so “Nathan” and Britt took off.

In a moment alone with Ava, Sidwell sought her opinion on Sonny and whether he killed Marco.

Ava acknowledged that Sonny was Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) father and that he killed her brother, Julian Jerome (William deVry) so she didn’t trust her judgment when it came to Sonny and wasn’t the best person to ask.

At Carly’s house, her make-out session with Valentin was interrupted. Charlotte called Carly from Danny’s phone and got her to put Valentin on, so he learned the teens had some car trouble.

Charlotte didn’t want to call Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) with this news, so Valentin got the location and decided he’d go help his daughter.

Carly refused to let Valentin go alone and wound up in the car with him soon after.

That led to Valentin and Carly stumbling upon the scene of Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) accident.

Valentin sent Carly over to deal with Charlotte and Danny while he stayed behind to help the accident victims.

Meanwhile, Curtis managed to get out of the car and was mostly fine other than being a little banged up. Jordan, on the other hand, was unconscious with a bloody face and neck.

Curtis smelled gas and saw it leaking underneath the car, so he knew he had to get Jordan out of the vehicle since it was already sparking.

The door was stuck, but Curtis got some help getting Jordan out when Valentin suddenly appeared.

Curtis and Valentin pulled Jordan away from the car in the nick of time since an explosion caused a fire soon after.

Since Curtis’ phone was smashed, Valentin called 911 as well. Once the paramedics were approaching, Valentin dashed off before he could get caught.

Next on Wednesday’s GH episode, Carly found Charlotte and Danny down the road with their own smashed up car, so she got them out of there in a hurry.

After Carly called one of Sonny’s guys to take care of the car repairs discreetly, she asked Charlotte and Danny if they were involved in the accident Valentin stopped to help with.

At Lulu’s house, Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) finally made it from the cabin and treated Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) hand since he appeared to have a staph infection.

Isaiah also planned to get Rocco set up on antibiotics and received the teen’s gratitude along with Lulu’s.

Lulu was willing to take Rocco to the hospital if this was too dangerous, but Isaiah decided it’d be OK as long as Rocco’s condition improved following the treatment.

Lulu hated to ask Isaiah to keep quiet, but she hinted about Rocco’s future hinging on this. Isaiah assured Lulu that the secret was safe before he left.

General Hospital spoilers say Lulu will have more Rocco-related messes to clean up, so stay tuned.
