General Hospital Wednesday, July 15 Recap: Drew Speaks Out, Mystery Man Arrives At Wyndemere, Portia Has her Baby

General Hospital (GH) recaps for Wednesday, July 15, state that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) gave birth, while Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) spoke out, and a mystery man arrived at Wyndemere.

The land of Port Charles was a flurry of activity during Wednesday’s show, so it’s time to talk about all the interesting things that went down.

General Hospital recaps reveal that Portia is shown where fans last left her, in her house, going into labor!

She tries to reach for her phone to call for help, but the contractions stop her from doing so.

Portia then crouches to the ground, screaming when Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) runs back into the house. Jordan could hear Portia from the driveway.

Jordan quickly calls for an ambulance, but the ladies are unsure they’ll make it in time.

Portia declares the baby is coming, and they set her up on the floor. With Jordan’s encouraging words, Portia grabs her frenemy’s hand and pushes.

Portia is then shown, passed out, and when she awakens, Jordan is holding the infant, a boy.

Jordan passes the newborn to his mother, and Portia thanks her for all her help.

Over at the Cain residence, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) drops off Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and a SORASed Amelia Corinthos (actress unknown).

The kids run into their rooms, and Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) lets Michael know that his attempt to frame her for Jordan’s car crash failed.

Still, Michael denies any involvement and then banters that she got what she wanted, for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to come to her rescue.

Meanwhile, Drew is in his room, moving his hands and feet. This is when Amelia opens the door, and Wiley comes running to her side.

Wiley says, “Hi,” and Drew waves back. Wiley’s excited that his stepdad can do this, and Drew places a finger over his mouth, signaling that the kids shouldn’t tell anyone.

The kids return to their parents, not saying a word about Drew, and Michael leaves.

This is when the camera pans back to Drew, who says, “Willow” in a low and raspy voice.

Over at the Metro Court Pool, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) is with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) as she tells him that Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) showcase is happening.

While Curtis is sad that Trina didn’t tell him herself, he’s happy for her. Stella notes that their family will heal once the baby arrives (little does she know …)

General Hospital recaps for July 15 imply that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) are at another table.

Valentin informs Carly he wants to purchase Wyndemere; however, his assets are frozen, so he’ll need to wait. This is when Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) interrupts.

Britt’s upset that Carly rented out her room, but she reasoned that it was because Britt left town, and basically kidnapped Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).

Carly noted that even if Britt returned to Port Charles, she thought she’d be behind bars.

Carly also told Britt that all her stuff had been taken by the PCPD, and the rest was donated.

Britt had a meltdown and told Carly that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) would want Carly to help her.

Carly replied that Britt needed to stop thinking the world owed her anything and fix her own life (ouch!)

As the ladies bantered, Valentin went to the bar and met up with Curtis. Curtis thanked the man for helping him save Jordan, post-car crash.

Valentin, in turn, offered his appreciation for not turning him in. Curtis did have another favor to ask, which was if Valentin remembered a black SUV on the road so they could find the other driver.

Valentin then recalled that Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) were on that highway that night, but told Curtis he hadn’t seen another car to cover for the kids.

Valentin then headed back to Carly, gave her a steamy kiss (for all to see), and told her he had to be somewhere.

Over at the showcase, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) gave Trina a pep talk, as she was nervous.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) also gave the girl encouraging words. BLQ, Gio, and Trina met the music execs and then headed into the studio.

Music exec, Simon (Grady Eldridge), is listening to them behind the booth and tells BLQ that he loves Gio’s sound.

In fact, he has an artist he could match him up with; however, Brook Lynn notes that tonight is about Trina.

They finish their song, and Simon asks Trina to give it her all and try again. She does, and Simon is clearly impressed by her talent on the second go.

Over at Wyndmere, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) were about to go search for Jack’s black box when the WSB Chief almost fainted.

Nina was worried he was pushing himself too much, so she went to go look for the box alone, while he sat in the living room.

She came back with nothing, which is when Jack noted that the box had an infrared tag.

He didn’t want to ask the WSB for a scanner, since everyone there was on high alert since Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) corruption was exposed, but desperate times lead to desperate actions.

As Nina and Jack were chatting, a figure secretly walked into Wyndemere. The person wore brown gloves and remained hidden from Jack and Nina.

Jack and Nina left the mansion, and the person was then shown in Wyndemere’s basement. They found the black box, grabbed it, and walked away.

Over at the hospital, General Hospital recaps for Wednesday’s show hint that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) visited Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

Anna wanted more intel on Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) and Cullum’s alliance.

Joss told Anna that Cassius didn’t know about Anna’s hostage situation until after it happened.

Anna speculated whether that was the truth. Joss said there were both good and bad parts to Cassius.

She also revealed that ruining his reputation was part of a deal she made with the WSB for Valentin and Jason’s release.

While Anna applauded the move, she also warned Joss that if it was her idea, she’d owe the spy organization, and they may cash in for a favor she’s not happy with.

As Anna left, Josslyn also told Anna that the taunting that took place at Wyndemere during Anna’s kidnapping seemed to be from Cullum. As Anna entered the hospital hallway, she ran into Britt.

With Peter August (Wes Rasmey) standing behind Britt, with a creepy glare, Anna told the good doctor that she had just been talking about her father … and brother!
