General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, September 16, reveals that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) had a meltdown over her arrest.
Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) possible murder left Nina in serious legal trouble, so here’s how Wednesday’s GH episode played out.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) admitted he was moving out and began to pack up some of his stuff.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) tried to convince Chase that they could move out of the house as a family with Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton).
Unfortunately, Chase and Brook Lynn’s trust issues were too bad for him to agree to that.
Chase mentioned the possibility of a legal separation, but Brook Lynn convinced him to hold off for now.
Even so, Brook Lynn looked devastated over Chase’s move-out news once she was alone.
At Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) place, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was rattled over the sight of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) with his former flame and ultimately took off in a hurry.
Anna sent Valentin after Carly before turning her attention to a visit from Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner).
Although Valentin understood Anna in a way that nobody else did, Anna knew his focus needed to be on Carly now.
In Carly’s kitchen, she looked upset as she poured herself some wine and thought back to sharing dinner with Valentin one night.
Although Valentin was willing to share the details of what happened with Anna, Carly acted like she didn’t need them.
However, Carly did admit to witnessing a fight between Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) that left her concerned.
Although Carly worried about Josslyn heading down the same awful road as Anna at the WSB, Valentin eased her mind a bit.
Valentin also hoped Anna would find the path to peace since he’d found that with Carly.
At the Quartermaine stables, Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) admitted to Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) that she lied to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) about sneaking around with him.
Danny lashed out and wondered why Scout would do that.
Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) entered in time to hear Scout’s excuse about attending a PCU party and telling Drew that she was with Danny instead.
After Scout left, Charlotte told Danny that the PCU party story was obviously a lie.
Charlotte could tell that Scout was sneaking around with a guy instead.
Talk turned to Charlotte and Danny’s plan to get some leverage over Drew.
Charlotte insisted Drew needed to be caught with someone inappropriate.
Danny wondered if Charlotte meant a criminal, but Charlotte said she meant someone like her.
At Drew’s house, Ava showed up and ordered him to search his entire body for ticks.
Drew did as he was told after hearing Ava’s own tick story and assured her that he was tick-free.
Ava remained uneasy about Brennan’s burial, but Drew insisted the authorities wouldn’t be after her.
Drew clearly knew they’d be going after Nina instead since he flashed back to when he planted Jack’s wallet in her vehicle.
After Scout came home and got some homework help from Drew, she cried over how tough things had been when he was paralyzed and got her dad’s comfort.
At the Metro Court Gardens, Nina was waiting for Ava when she spotted Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
There was some talk about Nina needing Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) services as a lawyer since Carly pointed the WSB in her direction.
Sonny ultimately took a meeting with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), who wanted his help getting Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) to forgive Brook Lynn over the secrets she kept following Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) crash.
Ava met up with Nina, who complained about the WSB investigation she’d been facing over Brennan’s vanishing act.
While Nina and Ava were talking, Agent William Baines (Alimi Ballard) interrupted and got an introduction to Ava.
Baines suddenly whipped out his handcuffs and started putting them on Nina since she was under arrest.
Ava protested, but Baines warned her to back off or she’d be joining Nina.
Sonny also heard the commotion and wanted to help Nina, but Tracy sipped her drink and looked delighted over the drama.
Some restaurant patrons filmed all the chaos using their phones.
Nina struggled in Baines’ grip and denied having anything to do with Jack going missing.
Nevertheless, Baines insisted Nina was being detained in connection with the disappearance and possible murder of WSB Agent Jack Brennan.
As Baines dragged a frantic Nina out of the restaurant, Ava looked unsettled as she stood behind a pensive Sonny.
