The show’s keeping things a bit mysterious when it comes to Dylan’s dad, so they could be setting the stage for a big reveal.
Earlier this year, Dylan talked to Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) about her parents calling her “Miss” as a nickname.
It was the show’s way of explaining the whole “Miss Dylan” thing for viewers who might still be confused.
It seems like Dylan’s dad was involved in her life at some point, but Darcy mentioned something interesting once she showed up in town.
Darcy spoke about having to take out loans after Dylan’s father walked out on them.
It’s possible Dylan’s father was previously in the picture and then took off.
It’s also possible that the show just chose to rewrite things so they could work this single mother angle with Darcy.
Plus, it’s not like B&B fans can be certain of the whole story here.
What if Dylan’s dad walked out because he discovered he wasn’t actually her biological father?
That’s a possibility to consider as well and would leave the door wide open for Dylan’s bio dad to be an existing character who has no clue about his now grown daughter.
Considering the way Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) constantly throws her Forrester status in Dylan’s face, it’d be a great twist if Dylan turned out to be a Forrester, too.
There’s a chance that Electra and Dylan are half-sisters if they have the same father, John Forrester Jr.

It might lead to a shocking revelation involving a fling with Darcy and Dylan’s bio dad.
There’s also been some social media speculation that Dylan might actually belong to Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon) or even Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
It’s true that Dylan and RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) have kissed, but maybe the show stopped them from hitting the sheets for a reason if they’re related by blood through Ridge!
Of course, it’s also possible that Dylan’s father will turn out to be someone who fans have never met before.
If the guy who walked out is Dylan’s real dad, we could imagine him popping back up sooner or later hoping to reconnect and make up for his past mistakes.
